I'm only just now realizing, after using flash, the one on the left isn't purple. Let this serve as a warning to everyone else, make sure you have proper lighting when you choose your beads. 🤡

To clarify, I'm having a paticualr issue with making a necklace, not a bracelet.
So I'm trying to make a simple pendant using a Brazilian wax cord. Secured the necklace using a surgeon knot and bam, got my necklace. But when it comes to trimming the ends, I tried burning the tips because I heard that prevents them from fraying. But when I did and put the necklace on, the knot felt scratchy on my neck, especially when it slid around. Hence my question, how can I make the tips not feel scratchy? Any other ways to keep the ends from fraying? I heard using glue is unnecessary for wax but has anyone tried it?
I appreicate any suggestions.
