So I'm working on my ownboomer shooter, and one thing I'm currently experimenting with is how to handle executions (they are really important in balancing the fight since they give invicibility frames and heal the player).

I kinda like the new animations (still WIP tho ), because they actually feel like you're grabbing the enemy and ripping them appart a. But i don't know if they slow down the flow of combat too much compared to the old ones.

The old executions aren't going anywhere! They'll still be used when chaining multiple executions together or when doingone from a weird angle.

What do you guys think?

Like the title says can anyone confirm if Boltgun 2 on Xbox1 is compatible with keyboard and mouse?

All of my controllers are ancient and the left stick potentiometer is busted to the point I wouldnt even call it stick drift anymore.

Rather than spend money I don't have on a new controller iv just been playing games that are KB&M compatible like Darktide(i wouldnt really call it compatible but it works i guess)Diablo 4 and Boltgun 1

Before I spend money I don't have on boltgun 2 it would be really nice if someone could confirm for me that BG2 is compatible you would be awesome.

It was an interesting experience. Now time to get into Unreal 2 right away. Though it seems not to be as good as 1 from what I read. (No spoilers please 😄 )

Just speaking pure simple facts. Glory to the devs who made this game. And yall got MICK GORDON on the tracks!?!?! This game so far has been one of the best games of 2026. That being said, I am only on level 3 but wow. I will not spoil anything other than you get to freaking choose between 2 characters with different abilities. I’m goin slow mo and these fools just pure blood bath. Crazy hordes that get one shotted but also some tanks. Ur blade is way better. And more and I’ll be sharing spoilers so yeah go grab it if ur depressed and have nothing to do. Or if u just like fun fos games that also works.

I’m not even into warhammer universe. I played boltgun 1 and 2 because they are the genre I like. So yeah it doesn’t matter if u never played the first one or if you don’t know anything about warhammer.

TDLR: just buy it because it’s better than the first in many ways

So basically I wanted to take a close look into the game itself after recalling how Duke Nukem Forever took so long to finally be released that the game effectively killed of the entire franchise.

But basically what I was looking for in particular was to get a better understanding of what made the third game so iconic in its heyday since I sometimes wonder why it was so hard to make a followup to the game as I still hope that I can get another boomer shooter like it.

it admittedly looks very, and i mean very rough but the upside is that it runs fine and the game is so well made that it’s still fun to play. those cthulhu soldiers are the coolest things ever, and it’s way better than the first game as well

Let's have a thought experiment, pick some of your Favorite genres of music The more specific the better, now image the idea of your Boomer-Shooter idea. Maybe it's a game where you play as a Skater gang member, what music you think goes with this maybe West Coast Hiphop or Trip-hop now get more Specific. Do you think it's more Aggressive or mellow do you think it's more Fast pace or Semi tactical I'd like to hear your Ideal Ideas no matter how damn, silly, Generic, Creative Just do it for fun.

Here's my one a endless, rogue-like where your stuck in an Industrial District in tokyo, where you find yourself fighting against, Cybernetic people,who have the goal to Transform the world and you into nothing but machine, your a Underground DJ, playing for a crowd of Drug fiend Hardcore-Techno fans while your playing your set you notice the crowd is becoming more machine like and Eventually realize all the clubber Are being assimilated. The first weapon you'd get is a Turntable with the With the two slots where you place Your vinyl's would be replaced with a saw-blade.

When I think of the overall music I'd say for myself:

Heavy focus on Techno, Hardcore-Techno. with a big focus on heavy distortion & Industrial sound design. With sub-genres being Skullstep, Darkstep, Darkstep, Crossbreed, Schranz-Techno, Hard-Techno, Industrial-Hardcore & Doomcore around 140-230Bpm' with the focus being the more your rack of your kills the faster the beats go.

I am developing *Off Axis*, a sci-fi FPS where you can fight on floors and ceilings by manipulating gravity and using environmental traps.

Bought it yesterday on sale, seems to suffer fps and frame pacing issues. Guess I'll play dusk instead. Kinda baffles me that Dusk runs at constant 60 fps and looks great. Yet this doesnt.

Anyone know of a game with a Cold War sci-fi setting, or point me in a direction where I can find what I’m looking for if one exists.

I've added skins and a battle royal mode that ends on an arena battle with power-ups. Arena's have been reworked along with audio and sound fx. Feel free to try it out here.

It's free to play in the early pre-alpha build. Got a few 100 player capacity battle royal servers and the classic arena servers. So feel free to grab some friends and play it, leave feedback on the website.

Some things are obviously broken but its pre-alpha its about getting stuff in place for polishing later.

I'm currently trying to make good bhop maps and surfing similar to cstrike mods to act as a method to respawn in the battle royal after you die. In my mind its like goku running down snake way but to respawn. :)
