WeeklyThread Simple Questions: June 30, 2026
Welcome readers,
Have you ever wanted to ask something but you didn't feel like it deserved its own post but it isn't covered by one of our other scheduled posts? Allow us to introduce you to our new Simple Questions thread! Twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday, a new Simple Questions thread will be posted for you to ask anything you'd like. And please look for other questions in this thread that you could also answer! A reminder that this is not the thread to ask for book recommendations. All book recommendations should be asked in /r/suggestmeabook or our Weekly Recommendation Thread.
Thank you and enjoy!

So, Im an 18 yo and I started reading books for the first time in my life on january 1 this year. Ive currently read 14 books (frankenstein, darkly dreaming dexter, the count of montecristo, planet of the apes, alice in wonderland, the catcher in the rye, one no one and a hundred thousand, 1984, the picture of dorian gray, the great gatsby, animal farm, paradise lost, moby dick and the long walk, currently reading crime and punishment). I was thinking of making a ranking/review of every book I've read at the end of the year, would that interest someone here? Or would it be better to leave that to myself?
