This was hands-down my favorite drink when I lived in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and it tastes just like what they serve back in Asia!
So happy we finally have one in the neighborhood. Their boba with the thick milk foam is an absolute must-try. My girl got the matcha, which was amazing too.
Definitely check them out if you're craving authentic Taiwanese boba!

Im looking to make lemon tea but i cant seem to find the lemon that boba shops used. Do you know where they get this specific lemon?

I've recently been traveling a lot and naturally everywhere I go I'll hit up the popular tea shops. There's one shop that to my surprise, I've had multiple negative experiences at in different states: HeyTea. So I'm wondering if I've just been unlucky or something about HeyTea'a operations specifically is causing these issues.
So if anyone has worked at HeyTea or has some insight as to why these chain specific issues are occurring I'd be interested in hearing more. Is it a more strenuous tea brewing/drink making process compared to other chains? High employee turnover? Bad management? Not properly cleaning the workspaces?? Let me know!
UPDATE: after checking said problematic HeyTea location reviews, I noticed a common factor that all of them had: they are MALL locations. I've had the smell issue with 3 diff locations and theyre all at malls, and I think its because of bad AC upkeep and having open storefront doors (as opposed to closed doors w good airflow & heytea smell at standalone locations)

I barely found out about this drink. I recently went to Heytea around the time this drink was launched and never saw this drink advertised or being sold. I’m so sad. I checked all the locations near me on the app and none of them have it. I LOVE apple drinks I LOVE Heytea… has anybody tried this?? I’m getting serious fomo.

WHAT crack does chicha put in their black milk tea (and their cassia)?? how does the boba and the mousse topping taste fresh every single time without fail? this is truly the best tasting milk tea i’ve ever had, and i’m not sure why

Heya, title… I tried recreating it with regular bee honey and it does NOT taste even close 😭
I also use high quality green/black tea that I like but the taste is off… and I doubt it’s the wrong tea flavor since I made my rotation across all the tea w honey at chicha… thanks!

Hey guys, reaching Gold tier with Chatime and wondered what "Exciting Perks & Bonus Points Events" really equal?
Anybody have experience in Gold Tier? What extra perks are there? Looks like it could be the same as their base tier.
I remember I use to be able to cash in my points and get a drink + an additional food item. Do they still do this?
Also, I heard people just go to bake code to use their points instead

I have been a long term HEYTEA fan. I especially like their jasmine tea as well as their mango coconut boom.
A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and put on steroids and methotrexate - a potent combo.
Side effects include nausea and severe heartburn.
This week in my immune suppressed condition - I came down with severe flu. I can barely eat a morsel without needing to throw up. The empty stomach and the strong medicines make my stomach burn like hell.
So I tried a liquid diet of sugar free HEYTEA coconut boom. From the first sip itself it gave my tummy a feeling of soothing that I would not have expected, I was able to easily gulp the whole large cup of the yellow mango boom and the nausea and heartburn is completely gone
Now the more interesting part, the strong antioxidants in the tea leaves HEYTEA uses, also definitely has a calming effect on my joint inflammation - maybe to a lesser degree - but I definitely feel it
I tried a bunch of other juice / smoothie options - Jamba juice, joe the juice but they are all extremely sweet, feel synthetic and make me want to puke on the first sip.
Anyway - I owe to the folks at HEYTEA for helping me survive the flu in the immuno compromised situation I am in.. they have done magic with their drinks.
Kudos, and thank you!

I really like the texture of The Alley’s green tea jelly and cannot quite reproduce it. I cannot tell the type of jelly they use. Is it agar-based? Gelatin? Or a combination? Something else?
I’ve tried making my own and gelatin seems too soft (doesn’t really hold the shape) but agar seems too firm. Their jelly is smooth and firm enough to slurp up with a straw (not crunchy like agar) but not so soft where it is just watery in your mouth

Hey everyone! I'm planning to open a bubble tea shop and am starting to look for reliable suppliers. Where do you guys usually buy your tea leaves, powders, syrups, tapioca pearls, and other ingredients?
I'd love to hear about your experiences with different suppliers, especially ones with good quality and reasonable prices. Any recommendations or tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

Visited Chagee while I was in Gangnam!
I’ve tried every cake and most of the drinks on the menu but somehow I always end up going back to the jasmine tea. It’s definitely my favourite! 😍
We don’t have Chagee in Australia so I went everyday while in Korea 😂

Hi Boba fans 😄
Me and my wife love two things. Playing Overcooked and drinking boba. Ever since we finished all Overcooked games, we decided to create one our own, but for the one that we love - Boba!
You can play the game for free on bobaspill.com. You can play it on your phone or PC. It supports up to 4 players in the same room.
Important: If your phone is iOS then (1) add it home screen to play full screen and (2) disable Airdrop otherwise it will lag once every 2-3 seconds if you are on WiFi (it's not our fault. Airdrop pulls Wifi radio channel...)
It's still beta testing and we are working on adding 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 features. Please let us know if you see any bugs or ways to improvements.
Thank you!

Got canned milk tea from my local Asian market. Has these bits, they’re soft. Some kinda milk solids? Is this okay to drink still?

Yorktown plaza up in elkins park is honestly my go-to spot whenever i'm craving asian food. having bhc chicken there was already a massive win, and now nap tea just opened right next door.
not gonna lie, most boba spots around here are pretty mid (just pure sugar and fake powder lol). legit taiwanese tea hits completely different though—especially that thick milk foam over freshly brewed tea.
k-fried chicken and actual top-tier taiwanese tea in the exact same strip mall is insane. definitely worth checking out this weekend if you're around.
