At one time near Inferno release there was a "youtube video set" subsequently removed. I thought I read that it was a leaked video from the 'record release party'. Anyhow the video was pretty fascinating and I'm just curious if it's available anywhere (or even for sale as a official release). I had the impression that it was produced by BoC but perhaps it was just a fan video ?

Hey everyone, I was recently listening to the score from "Taubenjule", an East German (DEFA) youth movie from 1983, and I couldn't help but notice some crazy Boards of Canada vibes. This sound is present throughout the whole film and has an almost hypnotic quality. The score was composed by Christian Steyer. What do you think and feel about it?

I walked in to this record shop while visiting Kingston yesterday and saw a limited edition copy of Inferno sitting right at the front of their electronica bin. Never have I beelined faster to pick up a record. I never thought I’d own this so I’m over the moon, as someone that has listened to BOC for over 20 years!

Finally watched this tonight and aside from being an excellent film, it had some nice resonances with Inferno, primarily the way both end. But also: milky eyes, churches, labyrinths, blood.

Anyone who might've heard this track before - anyone notice the similarities in sound? The bubbling surges and intense heater sound effect especially feel similar. They're both masters of art in their respective subgenera so I wouldn't be shocked if BoC drew some influence.

It starts with what sounds like someone’s repetitively knocking at the door, it eventually goes up an octave with some flanger effect, transitions to a wavy synth, then a male voice repeats the same line over and over.
