Was 19 or 20 at the time in university. The messy ponytail lasted all of a month before I got tired of it.

I definitely miss that hairline, though.

Once I had a pair of Chucks but my mom tossed em the instant they got grungy. In her defense, I hated socks as a kid. Shopped outta goodwills and those giant mystery bags from our cousins wirh money. So my blunder years were "punk/emo in spirit". I'm 39 graduated 2005 my favorite band then was Blink 182 and my favorite band now is The Talking Heads. It was never a phase just a matter of refining.

I still chuckle every time I see this picture. I thought I was so cool 😅

I didn't care about going to school dances but my mom made me go, she thought I would be missing out. I never had dates or anything in high school but my brother's friend was nice enough to go with me. I was not on homecoming court, I just always wore a tiara 🤦🏼‍♀️

The year 2000. Head to toe Limited Too, featuring a furry camo vest and ultra-stretchy, glitter, camo bell bottoms. My mom got up early to crimp my hair for me. A group of boys nicknamed me Sparkle Fart for years after. And no, I didn't know anyone in the military or frankly have any interest in it- just wanted to be a fashion icon.

1994.. was actually kind of awesome. They both grew out of their goth phase.

That first photo is from 2018. Second is about a month ago. I think I have improved my concert outfits over nearly a decade. Especially that haircut. Man, was it a disaster

Grew up very much so as a weird horror obsessed kid/teen. I loved black metal, true crime, scary movies, collecting dolls, and taxidermy. I was very fortunate to have very supportive parents who allowed me to be creative and weird. But I’m sure their friends thought I was going to grow up to be a serial killer lol. These are all ranging from 13-16 year old me 😁
