Last video for a bit.
Enjoying this tweed twin tonemaster a lot.
My playing isn't 100%, but I was able to get within 98% of the guitar solo tone on the Joe Bonamassa's Redemption album for the song "Just 'Cos You Can, Don't Mean You Should". (Recorded with his twins)
This is just using an out of box IR

Been playing for almost 2 years now. Mostly blues or hendrix. But these days this is how i play. not much time learning but just jamming. ik this might be too fast and unfocused but just wanted some advice on whether its wasteful? im having fun but what are some directions on how i can improve whatever im doing wrong here? Thanks

I’ve been spending some time working through Albert Collins’ “Left Overs” and exploring the phrasing and feel of the tune.
I’m using the Joe Bonamassa Blues Deluxe tab book as a reference, but this isn’t really a lesson. It’s more of me playing through the tune, talking about what I’m hearing, trying different approaches, and figuring out what I want to get out of it.
I play through it several times and talk through my thought process along the way. It’s a little informal and unscripted, but that’s how I tend to work things out on the guitar.
I’d love to hear how other blues players approach phrasing and develop their own feel when working on a tune.
Here’s the video if you’d like to check it out. I’m always interested in hearing how other guitarists approach this stuff!

Does anybody have any certainty around how the chord stabs are muted for Stevie’s version? I’ve pretty much got the song down as my first attempt at SRV, I’m just a little stuck on how he mutes those chord stabs? Some videos are teaching the typical Stevie way which is the mute with the fretting hand, but the more I listen to the song and play it the more I’m convinced they are palm muted? I’ve checked a few videos of him playing live and I can’t be certain tbh, if anyone has any idea please let me know

Using the XLR output with one of the built in IR's. The internal speaker is muted as this was 7:30 at night.
The YouTube demo's so far of this amp have done it no justice.

Tried the fingerpicked/right-hand string mute for a bit but actually found i have a little bit more control with a pick, just at the cost of less control of muting with the other fingers. Any pointers from slide players would be awesome. Thank you guys ❤️
