I'm seriously excited about the golden plover, in particular. A more experienced birder was able to identify it for me.

Hello! My friend found a window strike (she thinks) victim in her yard today. We think it’s a worm-eating warbler, but we are in Henderson, Nevada, definitely outside their range. She wondered if we should report the sighting or not. I do have a picture, but he is deceased and I didn’t think you folks would want to see that. Yellow and black stripes on head, plain yellow chest, olive back. Sorry for the weird question, I don’t know whether it should be reported. Thanks!
Note: We’ve had big wind and rain storms (for the desert lol) the past week.

I literally only got sunflowers and planted goosefoot (most people consider it a weed) for the birds.
I'm open to more plant recommendations too!

Hi yall, i’m in the US southeast (central SC) and getting pretty dang confused with the species who do or don’t change their plumage for the fall.
The species I’m really having a hard time telling apart are:
Indigo/Painted buntings,
Summer/Scarlet tanagers,
Rose-breasted/Blue grosbeaks
Does anyone know what i can expect from these species during fall migration in terms of appearance? Any advice on how to ID them, and if I should expect any of them to sing at all would be appreciated!
Nothing sucks more then seeing a bird you can’t ID before it banishes and wondering about what it was all day XD

Merlin said the first guy was a hooded Oriole but the example pictures in the app are so different from one another I wasn't sure.
Second one was in the same tree as the first

Thank you so much for the incredible support it meant a lot! Lots of you now follow me on Instagram but anyone else who is interested please check out the link to my page :)
A lot of these are quite a lot older actually, and if I were to do some of them today could be done a bit different! Still love them though. Some healed ones there too.
