event Capturing Bigfoot
I’m in San Francisco for the screening of the new Capturing Bigfoot film screening and Q&A tonight. I’ve interviewed director Marq Evans and I think we did a great job of covering all the bases about the film from his perspective.
Do you have any questions that you would like me to ask Clint Patterson? What he thinks about his dad’s involvement in this film? What he’s had to say about his father and the PGF? What happened to the suit?
Drop your questions in the comments and I will try and get them into the Q&A tonight.
I’m filming the entire Q&A live and will have that up on the Sasquatch Odyssey Podcast YouTube channel this weekend. I’ll have the entire thing on the audio version of the podcast as well. It’s available on all podcast platforms.

Anomalous-Paranormal [Approved by the mods] All 5,021 published BFRO reports, searchable by what the witness described, free. And a blind experiment for this sub
I asked the mods before posting this and they approved it. I run The Anomaly Network (theanomalynetwork.com), free, no ads, nothing for sale, built by one person.
It holds every published BFRO report, each one credited and linked back to the original. The difference from the original archive: you can search by what the witness actually described rather than by county. The woods going silent. Wood knocks answered from another direction. Something keeping pace with a vehicle. A voice mimicking a person.
https://theanomalynetwork.com/experiment/the-woods-went-silent
Underneath it there is an engine that finds reports describing the same thing and shows exactly why it connected them, including reports from people who never saw each other's accounts. Given the whole record unlabelled, it independently reconstructed nine of ten famous mass sightings, so the matching is arithmetic, not vibes.
And the experiment, which the mods have seen. Hundreds of BFRO reports describe one specific moment: the woods going quiet all at once. Nobody has ever measured whether independent people describe that moment the same way, or in the borrowed language of stories they have read. So there is a blind box: you write your moment in your own words, nobody can read it, not even other participants, until it closes Tuesday night, August 25th, and then only the aggregate measure is published, here and in this sub. If you have had that moment, it takes two minutes and you can stay anonymous:
theanomalynetwork.com/experiment/the-woods-went-silent
Criticism of the method is as welcome as submissions. If a mod or anyone wants something changed or removed, it happens same day.

squatchy environments Could this be true?
After watching Expedition Bigfoot and Finding Bigfoot, I think Bigfoot is most likely on federally protected land.
Nobody can go into Federally pritected land. I think the reason it's federally protected is because it's sasquatch territory. That makes more sense to me and sasquatch could thrive in such isolated locations away from us.
Anyway, just a theory I had. Id be curious what other people think.

announcement 📣 CRYPTID, my new Bigfoot book is out now :)
Hey everyone! First time posting here, so I figured I’d introduce myself and share something I’ve been working on for a long time.
I’m Chris, an actor, writer, and filmmaker out of Los Angeles. About 10 years ago, I wrote a screenplay called CRYPTID that I always wanted to turn into a movie. Well, that never happened, but I always thought it needed to be read/told. So this year I decided to turn it into a novel.
CRYPTID officially came out October 6! It’s been getting some pretty great reviews too. Some mid ones as well, as is expected with anything.
It’s an adult creature (Bigfoot) horror story about four friends who head into the woods for a weekend camping trip and quickly realize they’re not alone. And what’s out there (Bigfoot) isn’t exactly friendly.
I grew up loving creature features and horror movies, so I wanted to write something that felt cinematic, fast paced, and genuinely disturbing. Fair warning, there’s some pretty graphic stuff, as I wouldn’t normally say this but a few early reviewers have already suggested checking the trigger warnings before reading, which I think tells you a little about what you’re getting into.
The cover was also hand painted by an artist named Olesea Vladimir, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and share the book with fellow Bigfoot fans. It’s available on Amazon in paperback, hardcover, Kindle, and Kindle Unlimited.
Would love to hear what you think if you decide to check it out!
And here’s the link to the Goodreads page so you can read reviews and it’ll link to places it’s for sale. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/259252874-cryptid?ref=ru_lihp_up_rv_0_mclk-up19680541069#CommunityReviews

advice For the other Bigfoot Content Creators Out There (Regarding Capturing Bigfoot)
We plan on doing a full movie review and first impression videos for the documentary when it comes out. Our question is: What are the guidelines for utilizing the new footage in your video when using fair use? We don't want to make the video itself essentially a rip of the movie with commentary (as that tends to get copyright striked now), but we want to be able to use relevant clips from the movie.
Do you all believe using a few seconds here and there would be alright? We've heard the new footage was copyrighted, so we want to double check before getting the violation. Thank you all!

Art I made !!! (not selling just sharing) I compiled all of the most "convincing" photos of Patty that I could find & I enhanced them all with the following editing software such as: Advanced layer-based image processing programs such as; Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, Affinity Photo & Pixelmator.
I compiled all of the most "convincing" photos of Patty that I could find and I enhanced them all with the following editing software such as: Advanced layer-based image processing programs such as; Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, Affinity Photo and also Pixelmator. I have made different versions of the same pictures to get more examples to see what is the most appealing to you.
The results is in my opinion.. Truly STUNNING!!

wants your opinion Do they stay on the move? Do they have regions and territories?
Was the Ohio ‘26 sightings due to something pushing them north east? Or was it just as stir up for some reason?
Black, brown, grey, white, mixed patches of fur.. If there’s families like some people think there’d be proof. What if they live long and mate rarely.
recommendations Is anyone here seeing Capturing Bigfoot today in San Francisco? Or any of the other limited screenings before the 20th?

wants your story What’s your MOST FRIGHTENING encounter?
I’ve seen a few posts like this recently, and I’d love the opportunity to share my own interest as well!
I’ve always been fascinated by reading and listening to real paranormal experiences, cryptid sightings, and encounters with things we simply can’t explain.
But even more than that, I have a genuine passion for bringing these experiences to life through narration and storytelling.
I have a channel dedicated to narrating frightening, unusual, and unexplained encounters, and I’d absolutely love the opportunity to hear yours!
If you’re comfortable sharing your experience in the comments, I’d be incredibly grateful. With your permission, I’d also love the opportunity to narrate some of these encounters in upcoming YouTube videos.
My hope is that this thread becomes a place where we can all come together to share, read, and discuss experiences that have stayed with us, whether they’re terrifying, mysterious, or simply beyond explanation.
So, I’d love to ask everyone:
What is the MOST FRIGHTENING or unusual experience you’ve ever had?
No experience is too strange, and I’d love to hear as many as possible!
Thank you all for your time, and I look forward to reading your encounters!

encounter story 2017 Willamette river Encounter
Good Morning, I want to share a possible bigfoot encounter in 2016 when I was 17 years old. Almost ten years ago in the summer of Oregon on the willamette river near independence I was doing an overnight hiking trip with my dog Beau at the time. We stopped near a maybe a 2 miles from the boat launch and park area and I set up camp and started grilling some dogs and steak for the dog and I. Around 9-10PM we started to settle down and try and get some sleep, within 15 mins of laying down I heard almost what sounded like a rock being dropped in shallow water, a little nervous I looked up online if a beaver or nutria could have made that noise, and the internet said it was possible. Shortly after we heard it again and again, at this point I was freaking out thinking someone had followed us and was trying to hurt or mess with us, what really pushed me over the edge and made me hightail out of there was a huge fucking rock, I mean like the size of a rugby ball flew across the river (At least 100ft) and hit the bank right next to our site. The dog started going livid and freaking out, barking, growling-you name it. As soon as I started throwing shit in my bag to beat feet, we heard almost like a knocking on a tree, like someone was banging a rock or a branch on trees fairly close to us. With a half open backpack of camping and hiking stuff falling out and a dog in my arms we finally made it to a road and we just followed that road until we found independence and the river front park. I'll never forget those rocks or the noises, I knew as soon as that huge rock flew at us that there was definaly more to the story.--
Anyways, I stumbled upon this thread and thought others might like to hear my story and maybe some others have experienced something similar in the OR/WA area.
