Can I do a full bleed from the lever?
I’ve done a few full-bleeds and topped up fluid with a lever bleed once or twice. But most of my experience is on older bikes.
I have these nice red tektro brakes I would like to use on a project bike, but I discovered the bleed port screw on the calliper is cross threaded and try what we want, we can’t get it out. I am wondering if it would be practical to do a lever bleed instead so that I don’t need to use the bleed port on the calliper. I replaced the hoses, so there’s no fluid inside though, so it might take a very long time.
My other concern is that the cross threaded port might have a minor leak. I’m willing to give it a go and check the brakes for leaks every time though.
Any thoughts?

HUB QUESTION.
galleryCustomer states he heard a squealing sound when taking cervelo p2 off the stationary trainer and fitting carbon wheels. Lowered air pressure and it appears to fix itself. I rode it, it felt fine. Continued with service. Wheels are true. Chain and cassette removed. Only thing left todo is check under the hub but I’m new to the ceramic bearings? Aren’t u supposed to avoid messing with them?!? I don’t see any kind of mechanism to even open it. How would one do so? Not saying I’m even going to take it apart but now I’m curious as to how these work. Could someone give me a bit of insight here on what I’m really looking at. Planning on continuing the cleaning and service. Setting tire pressure to 110 again and riding checking for clearance and other issues to see if this screaming persists.

Noise while coasting, recently serviced bike.
youtu.beI'm new to bike repair/maintenance. I just repacked rear hub bearings (new bearings), replaced cassette and chain. Now there is a loud humming/rattling type noise while coasting. I only hear it when pedaling the bike by hand.

Sticking disc break
Hi to avoid £65 service I'll tweak my bike myself. Mostly needs oiling and tighten the gears.
The only area I'm very unfamiliar with is the disc breaks. And one of them stays on after releasing. I can manually move the break lever back and release the break. It just doesn't happen naturally. Would this be as simple as needing some oil inside the break cable tube/cover? Or oiling the actual disc break mechanism?
Thank you for any advice.

Right chainstay creaking
It happens when pedaling (whether seated or standing, when the power is increases, whether low or high cadence), the creaking decreased when I removed and then reinstalled the rear wheel.
Ask me more to help pinpoint the cause, please🙏🏿🙏🏿
Alloy frame, freshly repacked bearings (bottom bracket, hubs)
Freshly greased seatpost, crank arm bolts
Could it be the chainring?
Edit: it sounds like a creaking noise, like when you overtighten a bolt.
If the chain isn't attached to the chainring, the sound disappears even if I step on the pedals hard. I think the sound comes from when the right chainstay compresses.
The worst crash I've had on my bike was just falling over on the non-drive side after slipping while climbing slowly. I mostly have bruises on my body.
I've had this second-hand frame for almost a year, but it's only now starting to creak like this.

Repair necessary?
galleryBought a secondhand Look 765 off Facebook as an entry bike and noticed these scratches on the left side of the rear fork. I was wondering if I’d be okay using an automotive clear coat pen/acrylic nail varnish to fill in/cover the small nicks or if I need to take it into a carbon repair shop. Thanks for any advice!

Help with E-bike
Hello,
I purchased an e-bike from eBay. It arrived with the rear wheel already attached, but I had to fit the front wheel and handlebars myself.
I’ve ridden it twice, and initially everything seemed fine. However, yesterday I noticed that the front wheel makes a scraping noise once per rotation at a specific point. I’ve also noticed that the disc brake appears to move slightly from side to side as the wheel rotates. I’ve checked the spokes, and they all seem to have similar tension.
I’m also experiencing an issue with the rear wheel, which has a slight side-to-side wobble and makes a swooshing noise once per rotation.
Does anyone have any advice on what might be causing these issues and how best to resolve them? As the bike is brand new, I’m concerned that something may not have been assembled or aligned correctly.
Thank you
