I know they are small but they look right.

Forgive me. I’m new to this. I’ve never had mushrooms but I find this page really interesting because it’s quite cool to me that these mushrooms grow naturally on our land. Saw this on a walk yesterday and interested to know if they are just regular mushrooms or not. Thanks.

I know this isn’t what everyone’s looking for I’m just generally curious what these are, they started growing in my back garden all of a sudden after never having mushrooms grow back there. Anyone have clue what these are?

I'm in the Dublin area. I've been out about 7 times so far and it's safe to say it's been dismal 😭 Only decent haul was at the very start of September. But since then it's been slim pickings.

By the end of September last year I had about 100g dried. I know it's been a warm/dry summer but condition's seem ideal now and still nothing.

Usually I stay local but tried the Curragh the other day and it was no better.

Seen someone mentioning Wicklow in a post a few days ago and getting decent results so I'm contemplating chancing me arm one of the mornings this week. Has anyone had any luck down there?

Left these in a sealed medicine tub for the last year or so. They look pretty bad but want to confirm before tossing them

Found these hiking Lugnaquilla Wicklow.

Was at about 500-600m, all from the same bunch.

Found some other mushrooms but wasn't as confident.

Been air drying them.

Thoughts?

I’ve got about 20g dry here, when drying I waited until they were fully dry and snapping at the stem until I stored them but they always return to being bendy, does this mean mold will grow on them?

An6body else getting the feeling its just going to be a low yield year? I have one really good spot that usually delivers alot. Been up a few times now with the first time mid Sept. That was a my best haul but 30/40% of what I would expect. Everytime iv gone up since its got worse. Still get some but yesterday was very little and the field was bare. Its making me think our unusually warm summer and lack of rain throughout the year has fucked the usual growing conditions. Right now the weather should be perfect but it seems like everyone is struggling .

The stems are dark so I’m thinking these are close but not actual libs. Would like a second opinion
