Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me. I made this drum case for my husband. It's for a snare drum about 10kg in weight. I am so close to finishing, but it needs a handle so he can carry the drum reliably.

This is made with cotton rope, 12mm rated to 150kg. I just coiled various yarn and twine around the rope to get the colours.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what might work? I've done some research and visited our local craft store (Spotlight, Australia) but I'm currently stuck.
