Best barber in Basingstoke?

I’ve got an event coming up soon and I’m looking for a really good barber in Basingstoke, preferably someone who’s great with both hair and beard. I’m happy to travel a little if they’re worth it!
I’ve just moved into a flat in the town centre after getting my NHS job, so thanks again to everyone on here who gave me advice on my previous post — it genuinely helped a lot!
But now I need to sort out the important stuff 😂
Who’s your go-to barber in Basingstoke? And if there’s a particular barber I should ask for, let me know!

Matt at Station Barbers is great, as are most of the lads there

I sat in there for an hour with no sign of being close to being seen before I left

They've got a queue. Just gotta wait for greatness!

There's a queue but also they seem really slow, there wasn't that many people ahead of me. Doesn't seem worth waiting hours when you can just walk into any of the Turkish barbers around town

Just...go to the Turkish Barbers then? Station Barbers are great and worth the wait though.

They also take bookings. So then you don't have to wait!

Is no one going to say one of the 20+ Turkish barbers in town?

Tribley's in Pack Lane. My baseline is avoiding anywhere that is cash only!

Been in Basingstoke for along time now and the ones I recommend are:

Benny barbers - Connor and Ben are very good.
Charnold & Kody - like someone already mentioned. They are a bit far tho.
Jacob’s Barbershop - is also quite good but haven’t been there as much and only had a cut with Rio.

Raggos used to be good in the early days but have not been for a long time, so not sure how it is there. Pretty sure Raggos used to be everyone’s go to barber back in the days.

My go to is Benny barbers.

I’m a fan of Bonds in festival place Pat and Hannah the owners teach/taught barbering at BCOT

They have a few shops around the south and I believe most of their employees are people that they have taught threw BCOT or academy’s

They offer hair cuts as well as beard trims but also do hot towel cut throat straight razor style shaves

I liked the Turkish barbers enough for years. These days i like to book an appointment frim Pat at bonds in basingstoke. Purely because the man is chill, understood what i was going for and does a consistently bang up job.

Backstage Barbers in Odiham is the best barbers I've ever been too. Check out their Instagram.

Great blokes who work there - you do have to book in advance though.
