That was the last time I can remember baseball truly being in the popular zeitgeist. I remember going to Disneyland during that time, the parking lot tram driver giving score updates and everyone acting astonished.
Was the wrong move to not have a guy at least warming up, tbf brewers are obviously the hottest and best team in baseball rn but it really feels like Roberts isn’t even trying to put up a fight
If these were close games I could maybe see it. But the Brewers have basically had a stranglehold on the Dodgers and pretty much the only runs they’ve gotten have come off Brewers miscues.
You say that while you’re in the midst of getting your ass stomped. Ours was only two games. We also didn’t have nearly the same expectations this year. Enjoy the new CBA!
I think this is what bugs me the most. There's only like a minute or two of actual analysis, the rest is just the interview(s) and talking points. If you've seen one, you've seen them all.
TBS announcers are also just better. I'll admit that I'm bias for BA, but listening to to his games, he calls big plays like he calls big plays. Can't hear the disappointment in his voice like you can with Davis and Smoltz.
He really is one of the best PxP guys in the game and is just good at what he does. It's really a travesty that Fox has the world series broadcasts lol.
And thanks! I'm ever pessimistic with our team in the postseason, but after going up 2-0 in the NLCS, I finally hit the full buy in mode, and they won game 3. This team has proven me wrong time and time again this year and this postseason. We are hot with the entire lineup putting in work. Let's fucking go!

Hearing those guys talk about the alcs after I just explained to my wife for five minutes about the significance of Roberts coaching down 3-0 was amazing lol
They all kind of suck though and it’s best use is as background noise. If you want actual detailed analysis and thoughtful discussion you aren’t getting it from a network postgame.
