This is the difference last year to this year. Brewers couldn't hit anyone the Dodgers threw out there. This year they're bouncing back at Dodger Stadium after their first true bit of adversity and danger in this series.
It's very impressive. Hats off to them. They're grown a lot.

If it wasn't meant to be us last year, I'm fully down for it being the Brewers this year to be the ones to stop the Dodgers.

u/Thrallsbuttplug Toronto Blue Jays 2h ago
100%, wish they played these Dodgers last year but ill settle for this.

u/Bullwine85 Milwaukee Brewers • Wisconsin … 1h ago
Last year we were limping into the playoffs. We used whatever energy we had left to knock out the Cubs to the point where we had absolutely nothing for the Dodgers.
This year they played some of their best baseball heading into the playoffs, and that's carried over.

Classy gesture by Roberts to throw Murph a bone after how badly he bungled the previous inning

Dodger fan when you’re on top everyone else is down. Red Sox felt like a team of destiny in 2018 so I kinda get it
1
u/Our-Gardian-Angel Milwaukee Brewers 2h ago
True, though I can't necessarily blame them. Even if it wasn't 103 wins, we had the best record in baseball last season and got completely punked by the Dodgers. What a difference a year makes.

Curious how it looks with a heathy/normal looking Shohei but credit where it’s due

Considering their dramatic playoff failings during this stretch of years it’s fair to be surprised when they actually do it.

Brewers trying to single-handedly end every annoying conversation in one fell swoop. Small ball, small market, low payroll, etc. Smashing them away.
Such a Brewers anti-smallball narrative for the decisive hits to be homers from guys who most people thought were AAAA types before this year.

He has no confidence in his bullpin at all. He wants to ride them till the 8th then put in Edwin or Vesia or a corpse and pray their defense steps up.

That’s the death knell it feels like.
Snell pitched an amazing game, dodgers take the lead and it’s immediately gone after that at bat.
Lot can change in 3 innings but that’s a huge moment.

I don’t understand. In a post season where starters are getting pulled at the first sign of cracks, huge battle lost, fully rested pen, reliever ready and warm and you leave your 100 count pitcher in? Don’t care he’s a 2x Cy Young he hasn’t been in the last 2-3 months

It doesn't even make sense, are the Dodgers that bad this year? Or are the Brewers just lucky? This is one of the worst offenses in baseball. In this series they look like a top offensive team, but the Brewers have never been that? Bauers looks like a star but he isn't? Were the Brewers a powerhouse offense, or are the Dodgers pitching just terrible? Snell made sure we lost today, instead of keeping a lead.
