Since the last post about this got deleted because it contained a X screenshot, hopefully this one actually stays for comment.

I really hate all of the gambling ads, tbh. I don’t like how MLB (and even Derek Jeter of all people) have sold out to these gambling/prediction companies. It cheapens the game and normalizes gambling to younger generations.

Shame used to exist, and a sense of public decency. Now money = winner, so no one fucking cares.

Well said. It does seem like in just the past few years, money has become everything. Whereas before, it was everything, but shameful to openly declare it so.

Mays and Mantle were briefly banned for working for casinos in retirement.

Simple! Just call it trading!

Then it's all good. Hell, trading sounds responsible.

Gambling is a genuine addiction for people and seeing guys that are worth hundreds of millions of dollars pushing this shit is really pretty disgusting.

Same, and Ive been wondering just how much a gambling company can get away with when it comes to these ads. The actual online ads are wayyy more provocative than the TV ads.

I really think we need to make gambling ads like tobacco ads -- you can't do them.
