Players Only Dodgers' Alex Call blasts controversial Sydney Sweeney ad

https://www.thebiglead.com/dodgers-alex-call-sydney-sweeney-novig-commercial-soft-porn/

Since the last post about this got deleted because it contained a X screenshot, hopefully this one actually stays for comment.

I'd still take all those over the political attack ads I'm subjected to this time of year

How else am I supposed to learn that Sherrod Brown wants to personally trans my kids all by himself?

As a trans sports fan, it’s so fucking exhausting. I just want to escape into my sportsball and instead I get these relentless bombardments, and in every sport

Same, friend. We're strong, but I'm tired of having to be so strong every waking moment.

As a trans sports fan

I misunderstood this at first, and was like, wait, are there trans sports leagues?

I've said this in other threads, but that ad really sucks to see as a trans-woman who lives in Illinois. Not only is it personally attacking me, but I'm not even eligible to vote in that state!

Fun fact, the woman starring in those ads isn’t either! She has no connection to Ohio and was not a minor when she had surgery.

It's like the attack ad against Acton where the woman blames her for her mother dying, when her mother lived in Kentucky.

Only if your kid is already 19 and lives in Texas

"They did it without my parents consent!"

"Yes, because you were an adult and could consent yourself"

I'm kinda enjoying the mud slinging around Max Miller/Brian Poindexter, ngl. That race has basically turned into each of them pointing at each other and screaming, "no, YOU'RE the bigger piece of shit!"

It's interesting that those two has attack ads running every ad break, and sherrod browns trans ads/ Acton covid ads every other, but I've yet to see a pro Acton or brown ad.

So fucking awkward watching the game with my family when I'm trans, and that ad comes on. The whole room gets quiet. I started getting up between innings just to avoid it.

They're extra annoying when they're for elections in other states! National political ads should be saved for presidential election years.

I'd argue they should be banned outright. Show me two dudes in diapers kissing on top of a unicorn that's jumping over a rainbow all day long while a half-naked Sydney Sweeney eats pudding with her hands, but keep the political crap off my TV.

Somehow I'm getting Alaska Senate attack ads in Seattle

I'm watching on Unimas locally ota, and the only thing I get is ads for Spanish shows, iphones, and prescription medications (which is hilarious when they discuss the side effects).

The political stuff isn't there, and it's fantastic

it's a shame where fearmongering and scapegoating is normalized, or even encouraged, but the human body is scandalous.
