I've started watching the games on a 40ish minute delay to skip the gambling and horror movie commercials and be able to sleep through the night.

A 40 minute delay is absolutely diabolical. I guarantee you have seen and forgotten worse ads from when you were a child. This is a non-issue besides the gambling stuff but that’s never changing, Pandora’s box is open

Regular season i usually watch on a lengthy delay just to avoid ads. Not because of the ads content, just figure that's a waste of my time i can cut out.

I dont miss any of the action. I skip the ads and watch the whole game. I dont have any app on my phone that gives me notifications of game scores. Unless I actively go to reddit or something im not getting spoiled. Did this all year, never got spoiled.

This isn’t 1960 anymore my guy. Very few jobs exist where you can’t at least partially follow the score of a game unless you’re performing emergency surgery. You guys are absolutely insane. I’ve seen stupid Reddit takes before but this is the dumbest.
