Keeping the pitching and hitting coaches but firing assistants is kind of weird, is it not?

Bring Tony back to the desert!

This confuses me. You keep the pitching and hitting coach that didn't have a positive impact on anyone it seemed, but you dump the assistants and game plan coordinator that couldn't possibly override them and be the real problem.

They must have some messed up structure in their coaching rooms if the assistants were the issue and the hitting and pitching coach couldn't see it or fix it and the team still thought that was deserving of staying.

What about the coaching coach

There’s going to be a lockout. Crane and his team are cutting payroll. They were ruthless during COVID and look to be running the same playbook.

Damn, purging that entire staff
