I mean the manager should be the one to force the issue. I expect players to think they can play through it. Robert's the guy who should have final say. Tell Shohei he's sitting. Hell Yelich got benched last game and came out like gangbusters today.

But Yeli, you see, all year…. Well, see he’s the captain. I guess. I love the guy, but it was a no brainer the first game. And I’m happy he helped tonight.

Yelli didn’t get benched per se. they wanted a right handed hitter or yelli who bats left. He is bad at left handed pitchers. Makes sense
