Why don’t other teams simply sign the best Japanese player of all time and his counterpart the best Japanese pitcher of all time??

People gave the Dodgers shit for signing an unproven pitcher out of Japan to a $400M 12year deal. Boy, did those people get eggs on their faces now.

risky to sign yama without mlb experience a lot of teams weren't down on him

You don’t sign a guy to 325 million if they’re not a sure bet lol. You’d see a murakami type deal if there were any question marks.

If Yamamoto went to Yankees and Ohtani went to blue jays, Dave Roberts would’ve been fired in 2024 after another playoff exit

What is your excuse not firing Boone

No Yamamoto to bail him out, gets an extra 5 years to figure it out

Flip that same scenarios to the Yankees…. And you’d still keep Boone rofl

Dave Roberts literally has the easiest job in the history of sports

I feel like you're just upset the Blue Jays would be the defending champions if they didn't forget how to play baseball during the series last year
