Entertainment/বিনোদন Argentine here!
Just stopping by to say hello!
I’ve been seeing your support for the country and our well-known figures for years; we truly appreciate that support.
A friend and I are even considering visiting the country and meeting its people in person.
Big hug! :)

Visit Cox's Bazar & Saint Martin Island, then Rangamati Kaptai Lake, Sajek Valley and if possible the Sundarbans

Go to Rajshahi which is the cleanest city in Bangladesh and it's peaceful mostly. While Dhaka is the largest city, it's very chaotic and it won't give you a good impression as a tourist. Even for locals it isn't easy getting around there because of how crowded and congested it is, the air quality is also terrible. If you really wanna visit Dhaka then stay in the Gulshan/Dhanmondi area. Of course you're free to go wherever you want but it's just my advice for you to not have a hard time as it'll be your first time in Bangladesh. I say this as someone from Dhaka. I love it personally but it's not built for tourism

Why would you not suggest him to visit the historical landmarks in Dhaka?

While I agree with your assesment of Dhaka, I feel that the 'chaos' is something that needs to be experienced by everyone, it has charecter. I would certainly recommend a trip to Puran Dhaka (with a trusted local). Places like Shakhari Bazar are fun to explore and the place is famous for the food like kababs and biryani. The other suggestion for the landmarks is also good.

To be honest, your team needs to be more mature and stop whining over losing a game for real.

Would suggest you to avoid landing in Dhaka, the capital. Try Chittagong or Sylhet

OP respectfully don’t listen to this comment!! Dhaka is very happening esp the arts scenes!! 😔😔 but Chittagong and sylhet are also beautiful places, I have to recommend all three tbh!

Grew up in Dhaka. Please don't give a tourist his first impression of Bangladesh starting from Dhaka.

I grew up in Dhaka too and live there, that too as a woman 😔 ofc nowhere is sunshine and rainbows and one needs a lot of privilege to be able to speak positively of such a ruthless place. I do believe it is a disservice to the country to discount the capital which is very historically and culturally significant and very happening right now in terms of things to do. I totally agree it’s not the only representation of our lush and diverse country, it just would be a huge miss if they don’t at least visit a little bit of the city! Especially with all the heritage sites, markets, galleries, museums, events, plays, food, raves, live music, etc. It’s def not the most romantic city in the world lol but it’s my city and I would want anyone - stranger or loved one - to experience a little bit of its many, many offerings (even if said offerings are kinda chaotic or neglected; it’s up to us as citizens to keep advocating for better, and turning people who can afford to travel away from supporting local spaces etc is imho not the most encouraging step)

OP just so you know, while Bangladesh does have a lot of Argentina supporters, there are also a lot of Brazil supporters, and other team supporters too and they are often hostile towards each other. There have been even cases of mob violence so perhaps be a bit careful in that regard. My guess would be that the commenter supports Brazil...

We don't, only our president does, and nobody really likes him apart from a small minority.
