I’m sure this has happened to others before but I beat the run but didn’t get the mark, I also beat every stake but never got completionist achievement. Is mobile just bugged 😭

OK, before I begin, I'm a long time player of this game and I love it. I've got the Completionist+ achievement (albeit after 400+ hours) so I know what I'm doing. No expert by any means, but yeah.

Right now, I have one challenge left to complete them. Golden needle. And for the first time ever, I got to ante 7 on a 3oak build, and I was looking good. But then, what did I do?

Hit square instead of triangle. Played, instead of discarding.

OMFG. Why does 1 single button slip, have no mercy?!

Please.. please allow us to replay a hand when beaten on challenge mode.

Sorry. This is a rant into the void. But jesus h. I actually feel sick.

Am I right in saying that PC players have a way to replay a hand that xbox players don't? Unfair.

I fucking suck.. recently got gold stake red deck and every other deck minus abandoned is at least red stake. Feel like I’m bashing my head against a wall.

I do seem to make some shit decisions that cost the win sometimes and anaglyph seems hinged on making the right decision at right time.

Had acrobat… was literally my only xmult over the course of the entire run why I would abandon it I don’t know. But I did it cus I finally popped double tags on spectral pack (it was ante 8 already I was looking for handy tag for satellite finally) got the rare joker in like the last spectral and said my scaling is good I can probably do it and got brainstorm which actually wasnt the worst.

Rest of my setup was onyx agate blueprint blue joker dusk supernova with two pairs.

Every other deck white stake is easy mode this shit feels like gold stake red deck for me lol

Honestly though this was probably more of an economy loss because I wasn’t poor but never really could fish for good shit

Finished the C++ grind today. My wife doesn't care and says I should get a j*b. So, I'm sharing with the balatro fam instead. I love this game, but looking forward to a break until the update drops. God speed.

I've been playing poker for over 30 yrs, have prob around 200 hrs in balatro, and this hand just broke my brain....the only explanation I can come up with, is that since i can make the hand contain both a straight and a flush, even though the cards dont stretch and they are two completely separate hands, it's registering the straight flush. I've played thousands of hands in this game and just happened to accidentally click the king to see the straight flush pop up, otherwise I still would've never known this was a thing.... I had to check several times to make sure i didnt have the shortcut joker because that was my initial thought. Am I correct in my assumption? Also, are there any other instances like this where this can happen, or is this strictly a flush/straight special situation because of the four fingers? Appreciate any input 🍻

any deck, any stake, and it’s what’s present on your board when you clear ante 8. you can name honorable mentions if there are dream early jokers that you’d sell before getting to the end (like a $21 egg) as part of setting up your dream board

I can't beat the black deck so I need combos and tips

Picked up a space man and hex in ante 1, and started leveling up pairs waiting for a baron or shoot the moon.

Instead, this dumb idiot, who hasn’t done anything for me before, got my pairs to Lvl 9 and carried me through to Ante 4 without any Oops, and then soloed Ante 4 with some help from ice cream.

after that I found ride the bus and blue joker, and from there mostly coasted to ante 7, where I traded an abstract joker I picked up for super nova, and a matador, who got sold for a Mr bones to carry me through Wall 2.0

Im glad I won Gold stake, but god I hate how effective pairs are.

Here’s how I’ve been playing these jokers.

1. Cartomancer/BS when blind is selected
2. Burnt Joker/BS for leveling up hand
3. DNA/BS for copying Holo Kings & Gold Kings
4. Triboulet/BS for scoring

Here’s what I think I need to do:

Sell Burnt Joker and pick up the photochad combo. I’ll need to acquire blue seals as well as more gold/holo kings while also thinning out my deck of generic cards and basic steel kings w/o the Holo enhancement.

I’ve only been playing a few weeks so i’m not expecting this to be a naneinf run by any means. Would like some feedback on my plan, is it solid or would you do something different?

Edit: Also what is the optimal order of my jokers if I were to add Photograph to the mix?

I haven't gotten any luck so far. Not sure if my luck is just that bad or if I don’t know how to consistently win a run, if that's even possible.

I have 36 jokers left to get. One joker is one of the legendary jokers (the one where kings and queens are 2×). Ive got gold on the other 4. Am i guranteed to get that one every time? Ive had three in a row which have been the one i want, so im guessing it is. Chatbot tells me theres a mechanic which gurantees it, but im dubious.
