Hi, I've my first away game to St James' park on Saturday. I've a question re the ticket issuing.

On my villa account, using a browser, I can see my ticket. There's no QR code etc, just an image of the ticket and location etc.

There's nothing in my villa ticketing app, how do I get into the ground? Show the steward, seems like it's rife for screenshotting etc. Or is there another ticket issued?

Just getting concerned considering the game is in two days.

Cheers

Think we'd all agree that it would be good to get some new chants out there. This one might be rubbish but could be workshopped!

Reworking the Outkast lyrics (obviously):

"Nicolas Jackson, he is unreal

Always meant to make defenders cry

Nicolas Jackson scores a trillion times"

Original lyrics:

"I'm sorry Ms. Jackson, I am for real

Never meant to make your daughter cry

I apologize a trillion times"

Something along those lines?

I obviously like to see him do it as it means another Villa goal. But what is Jackson's goal celebration all about?

Watching the match last night and was blown away by our fan support and the beauty of Villa Park, it really was something else.

I was thinking it would be cool if we could project crowd footage onto the remains or the North Stand. You could go from black and white footage from back in the day to full on Claret and Blue as the years roll by throughout the match.

Throw up some speakers and crank it up to 11, blast out the beginning of chants and songs to keep the crowd going.

I think it would be quite menacing to visiting teams and would be an absolute spectacle on a CL night like last night.

Anyways, thought it was a nice idea to share!

It's official guys, Jackson is better than Kane

Every time he steps on the pitch he makes something happen. First touch vs PSG took it around Mendes and put a good ball into the box. Last night, he came in and went around their LB and flashed it across to Tammy for a goal.

He's so direct and seems deceptively strong. Never really see much discussion around him though and always as a third/fourth option. Genuinely think he should be getting starts. I'd love to see us go with:

Jackson

Mbaye - Manzambi - Alysson

Kamara - McGinn

That attack might be the most dangerous attack we've fielded under Emery.

Close to the touchline and Unai Emery’s fervent, intensely staring eyes, Nicolas Jackson shrugged off two Fenerbahce players.

As he paused, waiting for his attacking comrades, Johan Manzambi and Ibrahim Mbaye, to join him, supporters behind in the Trinity Road Stand rose to their feet. In the crowd was William, Prince of Wales, the next in line to the throne, sharing similar enthusiasm.

The Holte End, invigorated by another electric Champions League night, were already up, but broke out into song.

Jackson spearheaded a compelling attacking force. It was the first time he, Manzambi and Mbaye had started together. All three were summer additions and, as multiple club sources said at the time, aimed to symbolise Villa 2.0, brimming with power, pace and incision.

Love the guy and what he has done for us last season, but feels like he is adapting bad to the new players only seen his magic once this season and how we played without him was breathtaking. Is this going to go bad for him?

The mental battle was won, and the boys finished them off on the pitch!!

Gave me a chuckle

Nicholas Jackson with a 101 km/h strike average on goal 1, estimated peak of 114 km/h
And 95 km/h on goal 2, estimated peak of 109 km/h!
What a convincing win for Villa!

Osayi-Samuel seen at Villa Park, likely locked in with the Fener fans as they got battered

i love Ross Barkley, so emotionally invested in him, but feel I could run a poll on a weekly basis about whether he's great or shite and get a different answer every week.

We've spent many years watching matches and pondering the club's direction. From relegation, misplaced passes, a nearly team, spending restrictions, player sales and injuries to promotion, European/Champions League qualifications, bangers, miracles, big moments, Emery magic and a trophy win, we suffered a lot and stood resilient through it all.

Today's victory is for you! Congratulations!

There's still a long way to go. The squad is yet to be fully balanced but this match just showed how bright the future is. We all look forward to it.

Does anyone know how to get a full match replay for today’s game as soon as possible?

I'll say it again , well done lads.

I was a huge fan of Watkins. One of those annoying fans that was always willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Seemed a nice guy who worked his socks off in every game. He wasn’t the greatest finisher but his work rate was unmatched at times. Then he did what he did in the summer and he lost all respect.

But wow, Jackson is such a massive upgrade. I hoped he’d be a good replacement but he’s surpassed what I hoped he’d be. His work rate is higher than Watkins, he covers so much ground across the full worth other pitch, and he takes his chances.

how can we be 3-0 up at half time and only have.7 xG?

Its so disappointing to see £99 tickets for these games. How did the club not see this happening for a midweek league phase game.

No north stand I know why don't we split those lost ticket sales between the rest of the seats so we don't lose any money?

Embarrassing unfortunately. I hope the rest of the fans can carry the atmosphere in there and half the noise from fenerbahce is lost in the open north stand.
