I have decided to leave my career because of burnout. I have a plan to start a business, but I've decided that I'll prioritize rest and recovery for the rest of the year. Based on my chart, will it be a good idea to handle a business?
Aside from burnout from work, I've had to deal with other stressful experiences. I've gone through 2 minor car accidents in a span of a few months (where other cars hit my car while I'm parked or barely moving.)
My social life has also caused me some stress. I've unfriended 3 people where I slowly faded one out and broke up with 2 hangout buddies.
Afaik I am normally a quiet, nonchalant person who others have described as "chill" and a "calming presence."
Now I know that I can reach a level of rage/anger to assert a boundary.
These stressors seem to have triggered my fight instinct in a way that surprised me. Working on my social life is forcing me to examine my boundaries, capacity for connection, and my ability to discern.
I'm still working on finding or building my community. I've met a few good ones and still chat with old friends who live in other cities or don't live in the same country as me. I frequent a cafe that I now consider a 3rd space.
Despite making room to work on social connections, I still feel like I'll always be an outsider, never belonging in a friend group or community. This could be a hyper individualistic trauma response from childhood or social anxiety from past experiences.
I'm most grateful for my home life. After going through a rough patch, my Virgo SO and I have grown so much as individuals and have learned to understand each other better. We've done so much work these past few years. Our home is where I find calm and the sense of belonging that I need, and where I rest to recover from all the stressors in my life.
What is it in my chart that seem to have made my work life and social life feel challenging in the past 3 or so years?
Is this just midlife?
Based on my chart, I'm interested to know what can help me deal with stress, burnout, social life challenges, and midlife.
