Frequently Asked How to surprise husband with lingerie
Husbands bday coming up and want to surprise him with a lingerie moment. I don’t actually know what he likes but I want to nail it. How do you suggest a.) finding out what he’s into and b.) wearing/presenting it. I really want to do a tease/preview to lead up to it. Any ideas? A friend suggested wrapping the lingerie and putting it in his work bag. This all has to happen within a few days so need to be discrete

How often do you initiate sex with your partner and how often do you get turned down? Is there a better or more successful way to do it?
Also how do you deal with the rejection? Does it bother you when you’re rejected or are you like ‘meh’?

What's a skill you picked up in your twenties that you still use all the time?
Not career stuff necessarily, just anything that stuck and ended up being more useful than you expected.

Why can feelings in relationships change so suddenly?
I've noticed that sometimes a man can seem very affectionate, loving, and genuinely happy in a relationship till the end, only for the relationship to end unexpectedly suddenly shortly afterward.
For men who have experienced this yourselves, what was going on emotionally? Did your feelings change suddenly, or had you been having doubts for a while without showing them?

How do I human? What's the best way to make friends in your late 20's
I am 27, I moved from my home state for work, and frankly I hated my home state. I work as Amazon delivery driver, so I have co workers, but I see them in passing at the station and then I'm alone for 10 hours a day. My wife has changed jobs so she's also having a hard time with this. We are both very reserved and "just meeting people at the bar" is very uncomfortable and awkward. Most of our old friends from her past job have started to show their true colors more and more so our pool of friends from that past job is shrinking.
I don't know how to make friends and I don't know how to meet new people outside of a school or sport setting, which is gone now. I haven't had my own friends in a long time and I am starting to realize most of my friends the past years have been piggybacked from my wife and her old job.
Looking for advice on how to be more outgoing and make friends in the places I am already in and to go to places where making friends is easier.

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 Do you typically walk beside your partner, or up ahead?
A conversation I had with friends got me thinking, so just out of curiosity, how many of you consistently walk side by side with your partner when you're out together? Does the walking position change depending on the occasion? (Ex. Walking close by if it's a special date but not when out shopping) How many of you walk ahead of (or lag behind) your partner? Is there a reason you prefer to keep a separate distance/pace? Is it subconscious?
I'd love to know! Thank you!
(This isn't meant to shame or discuss dating drama, just a basic poll for some insight)

Men in a happy marriage, how do you handle your postpartum wife’s needs ?
Fellow men, give me answers . So for context im 5 months postpartum. Me and husband had great chemistry and literally best friends hanging out all the time before my pregnancy. After pregnancy he entered my full time caregiver and father mode. We are in long distance temporarily for medical care . He Was with me throughout labour and an amazing involved father. Even now we speak all the time on calls and he spend almost all of his free time apart from work , with me . The only change is he shows me almost zero physical affection. Not even basic hugs or forehead kisses. Always stays few feet away me . Initially i thought it was sweet that he is giving me time to recover. But now it has become the norm despite me trying to initiate anything. The continuous and only response he gives is that “He respects me too much now. He sees me as a mother now and that he only feels love towards me. No physical desire so far” As sweet as this sounds, I am afraid that this might have permanently changed our relationship dynamic . Or he might get physically attracted to someone else during this long distance . Or im ugly now and he is just not saying that to not hurt my feelings (although im already close to my pre pregnancy weight) .
Do men actually stay away bcz of respect for few months? Will we become normal again ? Or is he hiding something?

What can I tell my friend to make her terrible sex life better?
ETA: he is interested in her enjoying it, he just genuinely doesn’t know what to do.
Hi! I have a friend who got married last month, and she’s been asking for advice about their sex life. Her (30F) and her husband (25M) were both virgins prior to marriage. Neither had even masturbated prior to getting married, so they’re both having to learn about not only one another’s bodies, but also their own. She’s confided that there is like no foreplay. They refuse to perform oral on one another. Her main complaint is pain (which is understandable if you’re not turned on). I’ve given her the typical advice (foreplay foreplay Our friend group demonstrated different positions to try besides missionary, and we bought her a vibrator (with her permission of course). I guess I’m looking for advice that we could possibly add to what we have already told her and suggested.
What advice would you give her?

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 Guys, how has working long hours affected your relationship?
Working hard to build a better future with someone makes sense, especially when financial responsibilities are involved.
But long hours and constant pressure can leave people physically, mentally, or emotionally exhausted, with very little energy left for their relationship.
I'm curious about other men's experiences with this. What changes have you noticed in your patience, attention, or energy for your partner when work gets particularly demanding?

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 What advice would work to snap you out of age related terrible choices?
I’m seeing a repeating trend just lately among my male friends where they are seemingly willing to put up with absolutely batshit behaviour from the women they are dating that they either know is awful but tolerate regardless or seem somehow blind to
They never would have done 10 years back, and these are relatively short relationships- maybe max a year, not ones where there is a huge sunk time element
Occasionally you can drag the main insecurity driving this out of them. They are hitting 40, their friends are mostly coupled up, and they are scared of ending up alone
I’m not saying it’s not an understandable and probably normal anxiety, but I am saying that with most of these nut bags… spending your remaining years on an actual desert island would be preferable. Staying attached to these situations is 100% not worth it and is going to get them in a mess and likely still single eventually anyway
But I just can’t seem to get that through to them.
Is there any obvious counter argument as men that would help ease the worry about the dying alone thin?

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 Men, how many of you act different if someone is close by?
Men, when you are in the bathroom washing up after using the facilitie… If someone else is still in the bathroom, do you OVERLY wash your hands to show you aren’t a savage? Ive noticed I act like a surgeon prepping for organ transplant if someone else is standing besides me at the sink.

How do I human? Any other blokes on here that cannot fathom the idea of having kids?
Hi lads, I'm going insane
I'm 28, my wife (27) and I don't want kids, neither of us can wrap our heads around the idea of having kids in 2026, or the foreseeable future due to the current state of the world, family is putting the pressure on, sisters and brothers are popping them out like nobodies business, I feel stressed and alone with my opinions, what are your thoughts? :((

Why do teen boys stink so much?
I'm 40, my nephew is staying with me for a few weeks while his parents are on vacation in Europe, and my god, he reeks. He's 17 and plays soccer, and I will pick him up, and it's like a waft of stank hits me in the face. He showers, sometimes a few times a day, and it's fine then, but the clean smell seems to wear off after a few hours.
I ran cross country in HS and don't remember smelling. Dads of teen boys, did we just not realize back in our youth?
Sorry, Mom and Dad; now I know how you must have felt.
EDIT: Not literally smelling like an asshole; it's a waft of stink.

When do you be the rock and when do you draw the line on negativity?
I've been seeing this girl about a year now, and she's awesome, but things have been wild. Within about a month of dating, her mom got cancer, in another three months she was dead, then her job got a new manager and that's been a shit show of it's own. I've been there for her every step of the way, because I care and I want to be supportive.
Guys... I'm tired, I'm so tired of hearing about every terrible thing that's happening at work every time she calls, every day.
I could deal with the death, it was obviously tragic and I listened, supported, drove across half the country to move stuff, all without a second thought. Hearing about every single little issue at work, though... I don't look forward to her calls anymore because I know it's going to interrupt something relaxing I was doing with another crisis. I love spending time with her, I love so much about her but I'm so exhausted.
I just want to hear from other dudes. I don't know if I need to just sack up and be the man here, or think about throwing in the towel on this relationship.

Good Fucking Question How do men think about the balance between their mother and their wife?
I'm curious about how men view the different responsibilities they have toward their mother and their wife, particularly after getting married.
Recently, I was with my sister and brother-in-law, and we were asking each other silly hypothetical questions. I asked my brother-in-law, "If you had to save your mum or my sister, who would you choose?"
He immediately said his mum, which led to an awkward silence. I honestly expected him to joke that he'd save his wife, and I hadn't anticipated the question being taken so seriously. My sister seemed genuinely hurt by his response, and I could understand why it might have upset her.
I understand the importance of a mother and the sacrifices that go into raising a child. At the same time, marriage involves making a lifelong commitment to another person, and I'm interested in how men reconcile these two relationships when their priorities appear to conflict.
For the married men here, how has marriage changed the way you think about your responsibilities toward your mother versus your wife? What does prioritizing your wife actually mean to you, and how do you balance that with the respect and loyalty you feel toward your mother?
I'd particularly appreciate hearing different perspectives on what changes, if anything, when a man starts his own family.
