I wonder if these 2 posters, Stamp Map of the World and Stamp Map of the US carry any monetary value from a collectors standpoint. I know nothing about stamps and looking for input.

The posters were poorly mounted on recycled paintings and beat up.

The world map is missing 4 stamps. The US map has all the stamps.

My questions are:

Any monetary value?

I plan on remounting for wall display. I frame photographs and have the ability/tools to do the following :
I’ll use mild heat to flatten the posters with a dry mount press, the paper has some mild wrinkles. Then mount on acid free foam board and frame under UV blocking glass to hang as a curiosity. The Stamps are beautiful.

I appreciate any suggestions/input/potential pitfalls.

Hi everyone, in one of my stupid moments, I won this auction for a huge amount of vintage stamps. I know nothing about stamps and I am feeling really stupid.

I was thinking of doing a small art project, but some of these bags have over 10,000 stamps in them. Anyone know what some of these may be worth if I sell them in bulk on eBay or something similar? haha

I have a huge stack of old letters with some different stamps. Of course you already know I'm curious if they're worth anything and what to even do with them? I doubt they have any value. I never have that kind of luck! 😁 I've held on to these for years just cause I thought they were cool. Unfortunately I've done that with to many things and need to get rid of somethings. My dad found these cleaning out an old building in Portland. There are four types Washington one cent & two cent stamps Benjamin 1 cent front profile and Benjamin 1 cent side profile? What things should I be looking for as I go through these stamps to see if there are any really rare or unique ones! Thanks Reddit!!

I recently bought a second-hand DAVO album for the Netherlands, and found these three cinderellas where a set of Rembrandt stamps should be. Does anyone have any information about these? The general style and colour seem to indicate that they are part of a set. I couldn't find anything online, apart from the fact that "I dreamed I was on [...] in my maidenform bra" was a meme before memes were invented.

We found this recently, and I was wondering if this has any value to anyone.

My grandpa passed away last year, he has many boxes of stamps (mostly from Italy, like a lot, that's where I live, France and Spain, but also from all over the world)

No one in my family is into collecting these and my grandma wants to sell them. Does anyone know how much are they worth or how should I proceed to get them appraised?

Honestly most of these look pretty recent (1950/1970 for the ones in the picture, the others I need to check) so I don't think they have a big value, so if they are not worth anything I'll probably keep a few just as a keepsake, but I do know that they are better off in the hands of collector who appreciate these more than I do (they do look pretty and colorful, but ✨ they do occupy space ✨)

How valuable do you estimate these Berlin stamps to be? Those from the period shortly after 1946 from the occupation zone are probably the most interesting.

Hello! I recently went to the Liechtenstein Postal Museum and picked up some stamps. There are two specifically (the zeppelin ones in the upper right corner) that I'd like to display with our travel memories shelf. Is there a good way to do that, or would I risk ruining the stamp?

I am finally going to start collecting stamps after over a decade of avoiding it because I thought it was going to be too complicated. I love postal museums and history and seeing all the stamps at this one really just ignited it in me. Today I went to my first event for World Post Day and was very excited to get stamps on their day of release and special cancellation marks. I'm looking at albums now to start my collection journey!

I got this first day cover on the day of issue from the Morden research station. I was invited to the event where they introduced this. I never attended, but I still have my original invitation from Canada Post to attend the event. My grandmother was invited too, so she attended and got this for me. I noticed they put an extra stamp on the front for the Canada Post station in Morden. Does anyone know the value of this, especially with that extra stamp? I can't find anything online that shows that detail.

Just picked this collection up from a antique shop for $5. Wondering if anyone can recognize any and if they’re worth anything.

I bought these stamps almost 20yrs ago at a post office. For some reason i vacuum sealed these two “bricks”.

Is there any value over the usps rate for something like this?

I mostly collect currency and there is a decent premium for my uncirculated bricks, especially $2s. Does this translate at all to stamps?

As the title says I came across this a few years ago and just rediscovered it, looking to get any insight as to value.

I collect a lot of stuff but never dabbled in stamps, I've lurked enough in this subreddit to figure that finding a local stamp club through facebook may be the best option for this many stamps but I want to start here.

Just about every page in this album has stamps on it, from just about every country. Copyright date is 1960 on the album.

Index is included in the photos and I am happy to search for any particular pages/countries and upload more.
