You've probably checked yourself but just to be sure, you have enough storage for the game + extra for the update, right?

Have you read and check your storage space? When updating, the game may need extra space.

Based on your other comments what I gathered is that you're downloading the game on one device to an external drive, and then try to play from that external drive on another device.
The problem with this is that on your second device your user account that runs the game could be lacking writes permissions to that folder, hence the "check storage space" error.
You need to use google to find out how to use folder permissions in detail for your operating system.
But the short version for windows is: Right click on game folder -> permissions -> security. The Authenticated users / Administrators / SYSTEM should have allow access to Modify / Read & execute / List folder contents / Read / Write.

How much space you have on drive C? On screenshot it says doing decompression (not downloading) so possibly it uses some temporary storage for that (different from where the game is installed) and you don't have much space there.

I did check the game installation path and it say nothing else than my ssd, I don't know what to do.

Well, you didn't answer my question but okay, you did mention in other reply that you don't have much space on main drive. That's likely the problem, the game probably uses main drive as well during game update when it decompresses data. Try to free up space there (for example, try to move some data from it to ssd temporary) and see if it makes a difference.

Do a clean reinstall, i guess - delete anything related to Arknights (files, folders, registries, anything) and install the game on the main drive

I had this same issue the first time I installed the pc client. Turned out it was installing to the C:drive by default, which didn’t have space for it. Changed the install location to the d drive, no issues since
