SUPPORT Please help..My lowest brightness is still high
When I set my brightness to minimum , it is still bright, it could go lower on windows, issue is eye strain otherwise I was ignoring it , not limited to arch this happened when I was using Fedora Hyprland as well and now Arch Hyprland
DEVICE: /sys/class/backlight/amdgpu_bl1
brightness: 655
actual_brightness: 1848
max_brightness: 65535 (rn my brightness is at lowest )
❯ journalctl -b -k | grep -iE 'brightness curve|amdgpu.*backlight'
Oct 13 09:35:46 archlinux kernel: amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: [drm] Using custom brightness curve

There's something called gamma. You install a software that then dims your entire screen - not the display but the graphics themselves. So no matter what brightness settings you have, you can can make the screen darker. I hope that makes sense... I sadly can't tell you where you get such software but there are definitely packages for arch. The illogical-impulse quickshell by end-4 had it built in.

Try slowly mixing things up if you can. I mean change DE and see if it continues. It will help to try and narrow down the issue. Is it kernel, DE, driver. Etc. Then post again.
