One of my favorite covers
I score most of my older Archies from the dollar bins in my LCS. Being native, this cover I just adore.

This article dropped yesterday with a full page from the new Vixens story (and, yes, it's officially being credited as a Vixens story):
Exclusive: Betty and Veronica's Vixens return in new ‘Josie and the Pussycats’ one-shot • AIPT
The entire story will be 10 pages long per Holly G!. I like the original Vixens maxiseries (2017-2018), and I love Rock Candi, so this is the story that I'm looking forward to the most. Not thrilled that the Black Hood is taking up space in an already-cramped story. I'm sure Archie Comics made Jamie and Holly include him for trademark-retention purposes. Still, an all-female biker gang defending an all-female rock festival? Count me in!

I was just perusing the Christmas Spectacular for this year, and the second story is one drawn by Fernando Ruiz and written by Tania Del Rio. This panel is at the top of the third page, and it vexes me---who are these two characters and why are they featured so prominently in this panel? Any insights? They stick out like sore thumbs, it feels like a reference to something, but what?

Hi! I'm a huge Archie fan and am giving a presentation about the weirdest Archie pages/panels at work tomorrow (don't ask). What are your favorite weird and work-appropriate ones? This is the vibe I'm going for:

Sorry for the quality. My scanner isn't hooked up. I took the pics with my phone, e-mailed them to myself, and used Paint.Net to crop them. Aerobic Liz debuted in the previous issue per GCDb.

That my Question
I thought it was a good start of re introducing Sabrina in very Archie way that made feel bit like Ultimate/Absolute version of her well close enough
Can't wait to see were this all goes in future issues & how it connects with Archie & Archie in Hell at some point
So yeah the Teenage Witch is back with her first ongoing in years bice to have her back full time

I chuckled at the panels where Archie attempts push-ups in Power Play.

That is my Question
Are you read for Archie & gang to fight T-800 next week?
How do You Imagine it would go compared to the Army of Darkness Crossover?
I think would be interesting seeing Archie Horror continue as crossovers mostly
My own idea would be another crossover with Dynamite but its ether Archie & BEN TEN or Archie meets Supernatural
So Hyped?

Apparently Archie’s jalopy wasn’t the only way they got around…

As you might know, Archie Comics, even in their slowing state, has started publishing annual spectaculars for Halloween and Christmas in 2017, and beginning in 2022, Valentine's Day also. While most of these only consist of one original story, and the rest are reprints, its still nice to be put in the holiday mood.
On the covers of all of these, along with the occasional digest, happily proclaim themselves to be "The Official Comic Book of Halloween/Christmas/Valentine's Day". The only other title I've seen these for is Easter.
I guess it would be trickier, just publishing wise, with it moving back and forth between March and April. Easter also just doesn't inspire a lot of secular iconography and fun, and I doubt Archie has done enough Easter to fill up a single book, much less several, though if it included general spring stories, they could fill it up more.
I don't know, picked up the digest that said it was official Easter book and thought, yeah Archie and Easter does fit together well in my opinion.
EDIT: Sorry, should have clarified that I meant publish a yearly one-shot, as much as I love Easter, I don't feel there is enough for a yearly comic.
Also, while looking it up, Archie officially trademarked "The Official Comic Book of Halloween/Christmas/Valentine's Day/Easter", as well as Summer, America, and the USA. Not sure why they didn't go for the other seasons and holidays as well lol.
