I took as many photos as I could. It weighs about 8g based on my kitchen scale, though it might not be fully accurate. Based on how big it is when fully stretched out across my wrist, it seems to be around 2 inches long. I don't want to just blindly release it in the wild and don't have a rehab nearby so want to make sure I know what exactly it is and research what to do for it.

Found it wandering around a park. Trying to eat trash.

No idea what this lil critter is Approximately 300-500mm long

Can someone tell me what kind of owl this is? My guess is a burrowing owl, but I don’t know if it’s just little because it’s a baby or what. Just wondering because my dad loves animals and would really appreciate some info. Thank you!!

Cute. Moves by hopping. Curious.

I just found this birdie in my yard. It's literally just died. It's not even cold yet. My cats haven't been out in the yard in a couple of days and we don't use pesticides. But this critter looks too young for natural death. But I'm no expert. So what could have happened?

Anyone who is a reptile genius, please help

My sister's been hearing this on our back porch for days, and only just now was able to get a recording. We can't seem to find it but I'm thinking it's some kind of frog??? I've got three dogs and I'm worried about them getting after it. Thanks in advance if anyone knows!

Edit: Solved!!

this was found near a lake and google is giving me several different answers? i thought it was a raccoon but maybe not? let me know!!

Sorry for the poor camera work at the beginning. I wanted to make sure he didn’t send himself flying off the shovel.

I gave the little fella quite the fright, but he seemed pleased to be freed from his prison.

I saw the strangest animal today and im really wondering what kind of lizard or reptile this is! It looks pretty small in the picture but it was pretty big, way too big just to be a normal lizard!

EDIT: Thank you to everyone who educated me on different types of lizards. I want to just clarify that I know there are hundreds of types of lizards. I meant that I had only seen with my eyes the little tiny ones that are everywhere in Florida. I just wanted to know what specific kind this one was because I had never seen with my own two eyes “out in the wild” one that was this big.

A dead rat in the middle of my road, decapitated, with a cigarette staged in front of the carcass. The head was not near the body or anywhere in the vicinity that I could see.

What kind of predator would take just the head?

Caught on camera around 1 am..

This chonk found himself in a pickle, caught up in the plastic-wrapped baby stroller. Just moved yesterday and never seen this species before. Google says Gulf Coast Toad?

Who chewed through the can?! Living in the city so no bears, squirrels are around, as are rats, raccoons, other common city dwellers.

In the ocean on the west coast of Madagascar. Not sure what it is. Was pretty small. Found in a pocket of water right at the tide line on a beach. Thanks for the help!

For reference I’m in the Midwest. I didn’t find any animal carcasses or remains under my deck/around the house. This was the only thing that she threw up. She seems fine and good. Could it be a rat tail? Should I be concerned even though she seems unbothered? Any help is appreciated.

IR driveway cam ~2:31 AM Oct 13, Palo Alto foothills near Foothills Nature Preserve — tail looks long with a dark tip in some frames, but side views show only a short stub. Mountain lion or bobcat?

Hello!
Was riding my bike to work in the middle of Chicago and spotted this critter swimming in the Chicago river (Near California and Addison).
It seemed pretty chunky but i couldn’t really see a tail. Is this a muskrat or beaver?
