📍At The Big A Can’t even watch the postseason anymore

I work at a restaurant / bar in la and it’s a spot many come in to watch dodger games, it is packed even for regular season matchups. Ever since shohei left the Angels and signed with the dodgers I lost a lot of interest in baseball, especially after they won two in a row (I stay up to date with the Angels tho). One of my coworkers asked why I don’t even watch the baseball games and I told them it’s pretty miserable for me to watch the games. You just know the dodgers will 3 peat I mean the pitching staff alone is the best of all time. It’s sad bro I really hope the Angels get good again soon so I can watch baseball again bc I deadass can’t even watch the playoffs lmao

Having loyalty to your team is nice and all but if you like baseball just watch baseball lol. No reason to let a bad team take out the joy of a sport you love. I will be rooting for Jo Adell to smash some homers tonight and excited to see the Miz and Yamamoto this weekend.

This. Loving the Angels is great and all, but having them be the only team you watch is like listening to only one musician for the rest of your life.

Pre-edit edit: If ur autistic you get a pass on this rule.

Just because they have famous names on their pitching staff doesn't make them the "best of all time." You should have been alive for the 90s Braves.

Yeah. I'd love to see the Dodgers not make it to the WS this year. Fireworks in my neighborhood are terrible when they win in the postseason. Bandwagon fans all over LA too. Let's hope the Halos get it together in the next few years.

Kroenke is the man. He won like 5 championships with 5 different teams in the last 5 years

Honestly he'd do well to just copy the Dodgers and try to poach some of their front office people.

Players love playing there and it's not just the money.

I hear fireworks all over orange county when the dodgers win now.

Well because they have fans all over the region.

At least if the Angels become exciting they might recapture a new OC generation

I even see a lot of Dodgers fans in NorCal. Sometimes even more than I see SF Giants fans

Dodger bamdwagon fans are fucking insufferable. These were literally "baseball is booooring" people a couple of years ago

Just don’t talk to Dodger fans who think they are the real underdogs against the mighty Brewers and it will take a miracle from God to win yet another World Series

Lmao i was thinking this exact same thing. Its so embarrassing watching dodger fans think they are some kind of underdog when they quite literally have probably the greatest team to ever play the game of baseball.

Yup the last time the dodgers were an underdog was 1988.

Some of them said if the playing field was even, they wouldn't mind if the Dodgers win a lot in that scenario. Its because the system is so broken without the salary cap that they are livid about it.

Nah I feel like if the Final is TB vs Dodgers. TB will take it. I have a feeling it will be TB vs Brewere though.

I see the black out in the White Sox home playoffs games and how every single seat is filled up and everyone is wearing the same colors and cheering so hard for their white Sox and how electric af the stadium is and it makes me full of envy we haven't had anything like that in the last 12 years.

I remember how electric Angels stadium was for playoffs in the 2000s and in 2014.

I want that back again.

I'm a Ducks fan and Honda Center was so fucking rocking and electric during their first playoffs in almost a decade. Angels stadium will explode if the Angels get back to being good again

Brighter days ahead my friend. I always remind myself how it felt in the early 2000’s when the Angels had a squad and the dodgers were a mediocre team. There are clips on YouTube where Dodger stadium is half empty. Every team has its ups and downs, and now that big bad Arte is gone, I believe it’s up from here.

You need a new perspective: hate watch against dodgers begins Sunday! Do it for the rest of the league Brewers!
