Kendall basically manipulated Sydney into being a double agent again. I can't believe that she would call him a friend. When she says *Vaughn loves me, 9 months is nothing" then goes to his apartment and sees he's being watched so she can't make contact, why wasn't Kendall able to contact Vaughn for her? He wanted to put her in a position where she would think she had no other option. That doesn't sound like Sydney at all, she does whatever she wants. I think she would have tried harder to get to Vaughn and would at the very least forced Kendall to help her do it.

Season 4 Episode 3 The Awful Truth

When Jack is talking to Sydney outside her apartment while a birthday party for Weiss is happening inside there's a song in the background.

When Nadia opens the door you can hear it's the song from the made-up band in Lost.

A few days late on this, but I thought the pilot, at least, warranted its own thread.

Two of the show's four Emmy wins were for this episode - Art Direction and Cinematography.

Also, "Red Hair Is Better" is a banger of a track.

Probably on my 10th rewatch, not sure how many actually, but it's at least 10 times, if not more...

And every single time it comes up, I wish I had a dad that loved me so much to put me through Project Christmas.

Admittedly I can understand her anger given they've not had a close relationship and how it all panned out.

But that prepared her for so much of what life could throw at her, it protected her from being a victim, and gave her a strength and fortitude.

If there was an adult version of Project Christmas, then sign me up!

Re-watching Alias S1E1 for the first time in a while. Just realized that Sydney's in grad school for literature or such, and yet her class has like 40 people in it? Seems a bit far-fetched lol

Hello all!

I’m rewatching the show for the first time in years, so while there’s there’s no surprises for me, I started the episode Phase One (season 2 episode 13) on Pluto, and in the recap it showed them taking down SD-6 and Sydney and Vaughn’s kiss but… I haven’t actually seen that yet in this run? The last episode I watched before this is the one where it’s revealed at the end that Sloane and Emily have been scheming the whole time to keep her alive, and Sydney and Vaughn had their first date in Paris where they were made by Kane’s two guys.

These episodes are out of order right? I definitely have not already watched their raid on SD-6, does anyone know which episode that’s actually in? The last time I watched this was when I was ordering discs from Netflix. I tried googling but each one says Phase One is correct at being episode 13. Should I watch a different episode first? Am I just stupid? 🥴

Edit: looks like the episodes themselves are swapped, despite episode 13 being titled Phase One, it’s not! It’s the one after that. Episode 14 is titled Double Agent, but it’s actually Phase One. Gonna leave this up in case someone else is also confused by this like I was. Thank you 😁

To say I am an Alias fan would be an understatement. 

At risk of making us all feel old, the 25^th anniversary of Alias is approaching this September 30, 2026. Now, I am a little embarrassed to say I am a bit of a collector, but I know I am in good company. I’ve got all of the action figures, all the prequel and APO books, the video games, and the magazines.

However, the cancelled SEG Entertainment prototype figures alluded me, and became my own Rambaldi-esque search. For the longest time I couldn’t determine if they were real or just a branded advertisement, until recently when the entire set was sold to me on eBay.

Unlike Sloane and his relentless search for all things Rambaldi, I was humbled to acquire what might be the only set of these figures on earth. I believe they needed to be shared with the fan base. 

In preparation for the 25^th anniversary of Alias on September 30^th, 2026, I have been creating a product line and Etsy shop that will feature custom items inspired by this toy line. I will be releasing the items in batches of 47. 

Truth takes time. There will be more information to come on September 30^th, 2026. Until then, you don’t have the clearance to know about the merchandise.

Hello, I just discovered Alias and was OBSESSED with the early seasons, loved binge-watching them. Having looked at posts on this subreddit, I know there’s a general consensus that the series significantly dropped in quality from season 2 onwards when J.J. Abrams left to pursue other projects, which is a real shame.

I have just started watching season 4 (in the order recommended by redditors here, because I’m aware it was aired in a different order). I don’t know if this has been mentioned before, but I’ve noticed that they behave so robotically?? There’s no heart in it, no emotion, which was previously the focus of the series. The relationship between Sydney and Vaughn, Sydney and Jack, even Sydney and Dixon plus the rest of the team, is so mechanic-like and forced. It seems like she doesn’t actually like any of them! Their connections are so surface-level, with seemingly no love or care, rather than how deep they used to be. I was very shocked and confused about this as it’s completely different to how things were before. Wondering if this is a short-term thing as they adjust to working with Sloane at APO, so I should hang in there as the season progresses, or if this is what I can expect it to be like from now on? Thanks!
