After trying a controller for a bit and switching back to mouse/keyboard, my Albion UI started looking awful in fullscreen/borderless: item icons and the inventory look oversaturated, too bright and harsh (the beige UI turns pinkish/salmon, icon outlines get thick and dark).
The weird part:
- Screenshots and OBS recordings look completely normal
- Opening the Start menu over the game fixes it instantly
- An "always on top" Task Manager window over the game also fixes it
- Windowed mode looks fine on both monitors
- Toggling HDR makes it look fine for a few seconds, then it breaks again
So it seems to break only when Windows switches the game to direct presentation (Independent Flip / MPO).
What I've already tried (no luck):
- Repair, reinstall, full client settings reset
- G-SYNC off, VSync/FPS limit changes, HDR/Auto HDR off
- NVIDIA overlay/filters off, Image Sharpening off, Digital Vibrance 50%, Full range
- Rolling back NVIDIA driver 617.42 -> 616.56
- OverlayTestMode=5 MPO tweak (no effect on Win11 25H2)
Specs: RTX 3060 Ti, Windows 11 25H2, ASUS XG32VC 1440p + second monitor (DP).
Has anyone seen this and found a real fix?
