Modifications I hate my Chaser :(
Every time I shoot it I feel like a dumbass for spending more money on other guns that are not nearly as good. Just added a dot and made a comb riser.

A governor from California is trying to get airguns regulated under the ATF. Get your voice heard unless you want us to be like Canada and the UK.
Edit: obviously guys in Canada and the uk are nice guys but us in the USA like when the government can’t tell us what to do. This is not for you guys

Tip: Different rifles prefer different pellets.
Always test several types to see which shoots best.
As many shooters say:
“The gun chooses the pellet.”
BBs vs Pellets
A common point of confusion for new shooters is the difference between BBs and pellets.
BBs are small round steel balls (usually .177 / 4.5mm). They are commonly used in CO₂ pistols, replica airguns, and beginner plinking guns. Because they are spherical and often used in smoothbore barrels, they tend to be less accurate, especially at longer distances. BBs are inexpensive and great for casual backyard shooting.
Pellets are diabolo-shaped projectiles designed for rifled airgun barrels. The hollow skirt expands slightly when fired, creating a better seal with the air pressure behind it. This helps stabilize the pellet in flight and improves accuracy.
Because of their design, pellets are generally much more accurate than BBs and are the preferred choice for most airgun shooting.
Double Recoil and Optics
Many new airgun shooters don’t realize that spring-powered airguns produce something called double recoil.
Unlike firearms, which recoil once backward, many airguns recoil in two directions.
When the gun fires:
This forward-then-back motion is known as double recoil.
Because of this, some scopes designed for firearms can fail when mounted on powerful airguns. When choosing optics for spring or gas ram airguns, it’s best to use scopes specifically labeled “airgun rated.”
Gas Ram vs Spring Piston
Most break-barrel airguns use either a spring piston or a gas ram (gas piston) powerplant.
Spring piston guns use a large coiled spring. When the gun is cocked the spring compresses, and when fired it expands quickly, pushing a piston forward and compressing air behind the pellet.
Gas ram guns replace the metal spring with a sealed gas strut. When cocked the gas inside the strut compresses, and when the trigger is pulled the gas expands to push the piston forward.
Spring Piston
• Traditional and very common design
• Usually cheaper
• Can produce more vibration and “spring twang”
Gas Ram
• Smoother firing cycle
• Less vibration and noise
• Can remain cocked longer without damaging the powerplant
• Typically a bit more expensive
Both systems are widely used and reliable, and many shooters prefer one or the other based on shooting feel and personal preference.
Best starter choices:
Cheap option:
Daisy 880
Best spring rifle:
Weihrauch HW Series
Best beginner PCP:
Umarex Notos or JTS Airaduca
Airguns are an incredibly deep hobby with options ranging from simple backyard plinking to precision long-range shooting and big-game hunting.
Welcome to the hobby.

After a 7 day customs hold in Barcelona this arrived 2 days later from Spain to California. It's the regulated version with the Huma regulator. I also purchased the unregulated conversion kit which arrived in a smaller foil Ziploc type bag.
Incase anyone is worried about the shipping process buying directly, it was a smooth uneventful one even with the delay. I was able to reach out to Wolfiek group via Whatsapp and received a prompt response during the customs hold abd UPS international and I never had to supply anything myself to customs. Happy to finally own one of these, can't wait to fire it.

I've never understood why a single-shot rifle with a right-handed stock has the cocking lever on the right. It has always made far more sense to me to have the cocking lever on the left; it allows me to cock and reload without losing cheek weld, and my trigger hand remains on the grip.
Like many PCPs, my Walther LG400FT allows the user to switch the action from right- to left-handed, and that was the first thing I did when I bought it.
However, this caused a new issue that I wasn't expecting; with my right hand still on the grip, the cocking lever would catch on it, effectively rendering the swap over ineffective.
To remedy this, I bought a new cocking lever and shortened it by removing the crenellated section from the end. To make it a bit more ergonomic, I moulded a handle from Sugru around the freshly cut end. Sugru sets as a relatively firm, rubbery solid, so the cocking lever now has a much nicer feel to it, doesn’t impinge on anything, and lets me shoot the way I prefer.

After 5 years using my BRK Concept XR .22 for night Jobs it was time for some good service. She never ever let me down. And time for some service for the coming years.
In the meantime the show must go on so I got myself a snowpeak ap900 in .177 to keep us running.
I did not expect much of this 270e airgun. And it surprised me very much in a positive manner.
Added the Pard and changed the stock moderator for the famous Weihrauch hw100 silencer (old model & not on photo). The only noise left is the twang from inside.

I have a 25 caliber marauder and a 22 caliber marauder. That’s all the air rifles that I have. The 22 caliber was in storage and I got it out getting it ready for squirrel season. I found three magazines and they will not fit into the 22 caliber. It is that bottom magazine, the top one fits. What could this go to? I have three of these. The bottom one is shorter and wider.

Hey guys, I used to love this hobby as a kid. Got my first Crosman at 8 during Christmas and saved up a lot to buy more. Over the years I lost a lot of my stuff, and after moving into an apartment I basically stopped shooting completely because my neighbour kept making noise complaints to the city council and police.
I finally moved into a house with a nice big garden, and while moving my stuff I found thousands of steel and lead pellets, loads of CO2 cartridges, BBs and a few of my old guns. I even still have my target box, so I thought why not get back into the hobby.
I only shoot for fun and I’m not super serious about it, but I’d like to get a decent airgun rifle that’ll last me a long time. My budget is under €500, and I’m looking for a good balance of power, accuracy, scope and maybe a silencer. Also not sure which calibre is best.
Shogun has so many guns in similar price ranges but different reviews that it’s hard to know what’s actually worth buying. I’d rather ask people with experience than spend my money on something I’ll regret buying later. Ideally, I’d like something reliable that I can enjoy for years before maybe upgrading to something more expensive.
For context, my other guns are a couple of Dan Wesson revolvers and a random Uzi I bought back in 2018 for a few hundred euros and a break-barrel, but i think my mom threw that away.
What would you guys recommend i get at this price range and for my circumstances ?
Thanks in advance

How long is a store bought metal pellet trap supposed to last?
I recently bought a new co2 air rifle and a new pellet trap.
My old pyramid shape pellet trap served me good for some years but is pretty beat up because I also used it for 4,5mm steel bbs.
My new pellet trap is a flat one with an angled backstop, it’s mounted with two screws to a old piece of kitchen counter as a backstop for misplaced shots.
Problem is the new one started to buldge and now has a hole and shoots lead shrapnel out the back. I shot roughly 6-700 flathead lead pellets at it. The trap is rated for rifles up to 32 Joules and my rifle is just 7,5 joules. I shoot from roughly 8 Meters so no point blank shots.
700 shots seams way to early for a pellet trap to fail that is rated for rifles 4x stronger than mine.
If you are wondering about the cross shape pattern, I shoot 12 and then all 5s to get more life out of one target paper.

Alright boys I am thinking of adding tungsten or maybe a drill bit to the end of the steel rod that hits the bb in a red Ryder do you think it would make a difference?
Will have to look more into tungsten as I believe it could shatter/fracture

I oiled the bolt on the Velox and now it will not cycle. Tried wiping excess oil off. Tried adjusting mags and hammer spring but got the same results. Barrel oring looks okay. Any ideas what else I could look for? Any other parts I should remove oil from? Noticed bolt bouncing but not cycling. Any help is appreciated.

Ive seen a few videos on youtube about this....but none of them were conclusive. Does anyone have the ability to test this? Or have any experience? Seems like a laughable idea, but it would be sick if it worked.....

Hello everyone, I just picked this up 2 weeks ago and so far I've been having a lot of fun with it! I am having an issue though that I seem to have received pistol with a missing front frame screw. I looked up online and found an exploded parts diagram and I saw that this is an M5, length not specified. Would I be able to go to a hardware store and buy the appropriate screw? I will be at the hardware store later on today and plan on getting this thing back to where it should be if at all possible. Thanks!

I bought H&N hornet pellets and tested them on my gun today, they didn’t do bad but they didn’t do good either compared to the JTS pellets I was using. When using JTS 25.39 pellets the gun had no flyers and all shots would shoot exactly 730fps. In .22cal, using JSB hades 15.89 it would shoot 814-816fps and there were also no flyers all pellets hit in the same hole. I’m not sure if its my cheap scope or the gun doesn’t like the H&N pellets but sometimes it’ll shoot some more to the left. I’ll get some shots hitting in the same hole exactly where I aim then suddenly get groups a little left from where I’m aiming. I haven’t been able to use this gun for much hunting yet, but it is looking promising. A squirrel kept knocking down and eating my figs from my tree and I dropped it instantly with a headshot. I also went rabbit hunting and didn’t find anything but a single jackrabbit and took it down with a heart shot in .22. I didn’t like how the jackrabbit ran a little then dropped so I switched back to .25 and a few weeks later, a pretty decent size possum got one of my brooding chicken’s nest so I took it down with a heart shot and to my surprise it dropped instantly. I plan to use it for quail and rabbits next week, I just don’t like how the H&Ns sometimes group a little to the left sometimes and Im gonna use them cause I bought 4 cans and they’re expensive.

I bought a gbb pistol that uses 4.5mm steel bbs and it came with this magazine. I have no idea how to load it easily and searching for speedloaders and adapters only shows airsoft 6mm

The follower is hard to manipulate because i bite my nails and it's flush with the front of the mag and it doesnt go down below the wider part. Please, any tip and recommendations are appreciated!

https://www.printables.com/model/1876950-umarex-notos-m-lok-handguard
I tried a printed handguard for the Notos and it had no retention and so much slop, so I designed my own that is very secure!
Designed for the Umarex Notos. This design has not been tested on the Umarex Notos Gen 2, so compatibility with the Gen 2 is not guaranteed.
It’s time for the Notos to have more mounting points! This handguard adds a 3x M-Lok rails to the pressure chamber of your Notos, allowing you to run a variety of M-Lok accessories.
Recommended Print Settings
3 walls minimum
30% infill minimum
Tree supports required
Required Hardware
An optional M3 × 14 mm wood/self-tapping screw is preferred, an M3x14 bolt should work too, but is less preferable.
