That too in peak timing of 9 PM, which is time for everyone to make plan and going outside party plot etc. around 4-5 km road of sp ring road (near kathwada nikol) was jammed for around 20-30mins due to Movement of our Honrable CM and family.

Huge accident ahead on the expressway toward Baroda. Traffic is completely stopped and we have not moved for over 30 minutes.

Check Google Maps traffic before entering, or take the old highway (NH 48) instead to avoid getting stuck.

Every year just before few months of Navratri ,I am more than excited .But as soon as Navratri starts I don't know but it just dims down. Coming from place where I know how much every single penny is earned and it's value not as power tool but importantly as survival tool Navratri just feels a bug waste of money . In addition to that I am person who learnt to be reserved after understadning how fragile friendships etc are....., its not just couple that make me yearn companionship... but somewhere in heart it's the sense of community too which I seek. So yeah coming from humble background , with experiences making seems world as low trust society...somewhere deep down the innocence and enthusiasm I had for Navratri as social event died. I always have prioritized it as Pooja, I guess now it's the only way I can look at this phase of year everytime. Does anyone else resonate with it?

ps. I am gujju guy in my mid 20s. just for context.

As a NRI , I am trying to understand (age 25-33) culture in garba . If I am there with my family , is it fair to assume that it does have dating scene , have seen few posts about people generally respecting the religious sanctity of the event but I have also heard stories about post garba dates, meeting friends of friends , hook ups etc etc … so I am trying to understand the culture of my age group here .. what is true and what is not . Hey everyone, hope you are having a good Navratri.

I don't usually go out during Navratri, but tonight I decided to step out. I didn't go to any garba since I don't know how to do garba I just went out for a stroll. While sitting at a cafe grabbing a bite, my brain started spiraling into unnecessary thoughts.

It has been more than two years since my last relationship. I’ve been in two relationships so far the first was okay, but with the second, I genuinely thought I had found the person I would grow old with. Things ended due to issues from both sides, and since then, I haven't had the courage to ask anyone out.

I've kind of isolated myself. In a way, I enjoy my comfort zone, but it's not like I haven't tried at all. I tried dating apps, but none worked out. I'm not blaming the apps, but looks matter most there, and I’m just an average-looking guy. I don't have six-pack abs or a crazy physique—I just want a healthy lifestyle. Then comes money—I'm not rich either. It feels like none of the typical factors are in my favor.

Part of me wants to just say "screw it, all I want is a peaceful, happy life." But then the real question hits me: am I actually happy? I enjoy moments here and there, but at the end of the day, I still wish I had someone to talk to, share my day with, and plan a future together.

Instead, it feels like I'm just slowly getting used to being alone.
