My car has a weird little storage compartment under the driver’s seat. My wedding ring was in there for about 13 months. Apparently I had thought it was a safe place and then forgot and thought I’d lost it outside.
I was in and out of there several times a week (I kept a work key there) for about a month before I found the ring.
