Posting Rules & Title Format
Before posting, please follow the rules and posting guidelines below
Include a Listing Link
Posts must include a direct link to a property listing (Zillow, Realtor, Redfin, etc.) for a property currently for sale.
Price Must Be Under $200k
Listings must be $200,000 USD or less, or the equivalent in local currency.
Move-In-Ready Homes Only
Properties should be liveable immediately.
You should be able to move in without major renovation.
Minor cosmetic issues are fine. Major structural problems are not.
No Location Snobbery
This is a judgment-free zone.
Location snobbery will not be tolerated. If a home meets the criteria as per Rules 2 and 3, it belongs here regardless of geography. Comments dismissing a listing based on location will be removed.
Be Civil
Follow Reddit’s site-wide rules and keep discussion respectful.
Required Title Format
To keep the subreddit easy to browse, titles should include:

Community Update: Comment Visibility Changes

We’ve updated how comments work in r/ZillowGoneMild.
This sub has grown beyond expectations since I took over as moderator at the end of February.
To give you some context, when I joined, the sub was 5 years old, had 47 subscribers and a handful of posts with no clear identity or theme. In three and a half months we've established a clear concept, a set of rules, and grown to over 14,000 subscribers.
I'm immensely proud of what this community has become in such a short time.
With that growth has also come a recurring pattern of low-effort negativity in comment sections, particularly on listings in smaller or rural areas.
To help combat this moving forward, all comments will now be subject to moderator review unless they come from approved contributors.
Approved Users will continue to have their comments appear immediately as normal.
To become an Approved User, you must simply have a history of good-faith constructive contribution in the comments.
This change is intended to reduce low-effort or dismissive comments and ensure that comments contribute meaningful, relevant discussion about the homes being shared.

Before commenting, I'm fully aware that HOA and other monthly fees will be higher than what you'd ever expect. But this is genuinely one of the more interesting NYC listings I've seen for a move in ready condo in this price range. (Seems to be a co-op with specific eligibility requirements but the process looks kind of straightforward if 200k was genuinely your budget and if you've always dreamed to live in the big apple. Could be wrong though if reality is different)
