Whether it’s a ruthless businessman unexpectedly falling for someone, two FBI agents with a complicated past, childhood friends reconnecting, or rival personalities discovering undeniable chemistry, I love exploring the tension and emotions behind it all.
I enjoy playing confident, charismatic, sometimes dominant male characters who have ambition, personality, flaws, and a softer side that isn’t necessarily obvious to everyone. I love witty banter, playful teasing, jealousy, emotional vulnerability, and characters who challenge each other rather than simply agreeing about everything.

My Writing Style:
I write primarily in first person, usually in past tense, and consider myself a descriptive, literate, and adaptable writer. My replies typically range between 3–5 detailed paragraphs, although I’m happy to adjust depending on the scene. Sometimes a conversation needs shorter, sharper exchanges, while an emotionally charged moment deserves considerably more attention.

I enjoy describing body language, facial expressions, surroundings, internal thoughts, and those little details that make interactions feel natural. I particularly love writing dialogue that has personality, whether that’s flirtatious teasing, sarcastic exchanges, heated arguments, or heartfelt conversations.

I’m a strong believer in quality over unnecessary length, but I also believe both writers should contribute equally. I don’t want to carry an entire story or constantly be the person introducing new ideas. Give me unexpected developments, challenge my character, introduce complications, and don’t be afraid to take the story somewhere interesting!

What I’m Looking For:
Ideally, I’d love to find someone who enjoys regular replies, communicates openly, and gets genuinely excited about our characters and their development. I appreciate good grammar, creativity, consistency, and someone who understands that real life occasionally gets in the way.
Chemistry, character development, and storytelling are everything to me. I enjoy romantic and mature themes, but I want the attraction, emotional connection, and tension to develop naturally rather than rushing straight into things.

I have been roleplaying for a few years now and I typically do a slice of life, wholesome type of plot but recently I’ve been wanting to do something els.

I am completely open to suggestions and ideas for the plot or if you’d would like to change or add, what’s important is that we both enjoy it! And that’s why I’ve left the plot pretty open.

I write in 1st person but would be open to 3rd if that’s something you prefer, I typically try to match my partners length but my writing is typically 2-4 paragraphs, it could be more or less depending on what the actual scene is, I’m not someone who can write multiple paragraphs every single time, it burns me out and I just don’t enjoy it so I apologise.

Grammar and spelling is also important to me, I understand we’re all humans and make mistakes, I’ve probably made mistakes in here as well but I ask that you try. And please do NOT ghost, if you’re not enjoying it just say! And we can figure it out together

Plot— Adrian Smith is a successful business man to the outside world, he’s invested in property development, he’s got his own business’s. To the public he looks completely clean and well respected but on the other side it’s completely different.

Behind closed doors, Adrian runs a criminal network, something he’s been building ever since he got into the game. It includes, drug distribution, money laundering, bribery and more! Everyone knows who he is but no one knows what he looks like. He’s like a shadow, he rarely gets his hands dirty but if someone threatens his business he will intervene.

For the past few years the FBI has investing the criminal network, trying to find out who the person at the top is, every lead they get turns cold, every potential witness they get disappeared. 18 months ago they decided to put someone in undercover, her job is to infantry the criminal network and find out who’s really at the top but what will happen during that time?

Plot ideas:

Fourth Wing: I’ve got a newly made child of the rebellion OC that I would love to play! I’m not looking to play canon characters as main characters here, but can as needed for background or side characters. I’m thinking an AU basically of a swapped Xaden and Violet. What happens when a rider who believes the cause was just to put down the rebels and a marked one who only wanted to be a healer are stuck together because their dragons are mates?

ACOTAR: I’ve got several ideas based off the ACOTAR series! 1) We can go human accidentally stumbling into the fae world, your character could either be a sentry that finds her or the high lord she’s brought to. 2) Nyx x Tamlin’s daughter AU. Nyx is sent to the spring court to check on Tamlin and the progress of rebuilding the court, but stumbles upon a secret. Tamlin has been hiding the fact that he has a daughter around the same age as Nyx.

I’m also open to other ideas that you might have and have a plethora of other fantasy based originals if you’d like to hear those!

She was never exactly ordinary, even in her youth. An introvert, a loner who never seemed to get along with the people around her.. but she was a star student, some called her a prodigy! She always had her face buried in one book or another, so motivated by her passion for her field and love of work that she'd forget to take breaks, forget to eat, lose sleep.. it wasn't healthy, but it had obviously paid off. She graduated early and went to an Ivy League, where she still excelled! Before long she had her doctorate, a sought after candidate with a hundred different invitations to continue her studies, to become a professor, work at this company or that startup..

It went fine for a time, until he came along. Her first love, it had come seemingly out of nowhere! She had spent her life so dedicated to her studies and career that she'd never allowed herself to date, or even really develop friendships beyond tolerating work colleagues.

Suddenly, work seemed unimportant. Nothing seemed important, except him! But her obsessive all or nothing mentality wasn't gone, far from it! Whatever had motivated her before was still there, only now he was the object of her obsession, the only thing she lived for.

Anyway, hi everyone! I'm 23 years old and female, and I've been absolutely CRAVING a romance story lately! And uh.. I figured, why not a dark romance? I've always enjoyed playing clingy characters in a more positive way, so I figured it might be fun to just take that to the extreme! Ideally this plot won't be TOO dark though, I'd like it to actually still be a sweet romance! Just, you know, it could be toxic at times considering how she is..

I intentionally left the setup quite open, I love the collaborative process of making a unique story together! So character details, how they'll meet, all of that will have to be discussed! I'd love to give this a very "golden retriever x black cat" vibe though, with the male character being very sweet and.. not insane. I'd be happy to share more preferences, as well as hear your own preferences regarding my character. I admit I do love the "man in a uniform" trope for this though!

As far as writing style goes, I expect at least a few paragraphs per post, in third person. I'm not a stickler for length, but I put thought and effort into my writing and you'll need to do the same. I only roleplay on discord, also.

From the moment I picked up Deadlock, I have been hopelessly fixated on Darcy Graves. Her interactions with the cast paint a picture of a young woman so desperate to be seen that she'll seek out the companionship and tutelage of anyone who doesn't treat her like a child—up to and including an objectively evil lich.

I'm looking to explore both Graves as a character and the Cursed Apple as a setting outside the context of the Maelstrom. As such, I'm hoping to find a writing partner who's interested in taking the scattershot lore we've been drip fed through character dialogue and fleshing it out.

As a partner, I write exclusively via Discord—I use third-person past tense, and my posts tend to be between 1800-4500 characters long (so one to three Discord messages without Nitro). I'm capable of offering one or two replies five days a week.

For the purposes of this chat, I will be writing Graves as an eighteen year old Blackmore senior, and though I am open to the possibility of smut, it needs to be secondary to the plot. If you'd like to write a character without a canon age against Darcy romantically, they should be no more than twelve years older than her (so thirty).

I had this idea for a rp that would be about you being a new wrestler that wants to go pro. My thought is this will be a world where wrestling is more serious and there are many more leagues. The leagues are connected so when someone does well enough in one they get to move up to the next. I suppose Kayfabe is pretty real in this world.

You are good and want to make it to a high level. But unfortunately the lower wrungs of the women's wrestling world is a tough one. There aren't many clean matches, a lot of them are gimmicks of one form or another.

I'll play your coach and manager who helps you navigate from one match to the next (and maybe enjoys seeing you in more gimmick matches since I get some money on the side. I figure for the rp i would also play your opponents for them.

I've been binge watching the Marvel Cinematic Universe, both in preparation for Avengers: Doomsday and because I have been in a Marvel mood as of late. I'm currently still in the middle of my binge, but it got me thinking about role-playing something Marvel related again.

However, I'm specifically in search of a GM or DM or whatever you'd like to call it, ideally an experienced one. I wanna be put into a Marvel Universe by you and taken through a grand story reminiscent of an MCU saga. Password is the full 'that doesn't seem fair' quote from Wanda. Of course, I do have ideas of my own for what this universe would consist of, but I'm largely curious to see your ideas brought to the table! Really take me for a ride!

I do have a couple of requests and requirements. One request is that, although I would love for it to be at least partially OC driven, especially since I'd be using an OC myself, I would prefer if the OCs that are present are more or less derivative off of what already exists in Marvel, if that makes any sense. Having a character that's wholly original and unique would make it feel a little disconnected from Marvel, in my opinion. A spidersona is an easy example of what I would go for, which I do actually have. I do apologize if this is a letdown for you, I understand. It's just personal preference.

A requirement is that I'd like for you to have role-playing experience already under your belt and that you are also twenty-one or over. Good grammar would also be appreciated!

I want a world that is set in medieval time. It will have some RPG elements like stats, dice, and maybe other stuff. But that is the main things I want to have.

The lore will be created as we go through the world and can always change stuff. I don’t want to set anything in stone before meeting my partner. I am fine with taking inspiration from other forms of media, I do like dnd, LoTR, and other fantasy games/movies.

I do have some starting ideas though. 1. You’re a prince/princess. You get captured by local bans, since you weren’t in line for any royal position, the king and queen didn’t do anything. You eventually were forced to work with the bandits so they can get their money’s worth.
2. Last solider in the battle. You were the last sword person, you weren’t even considered a knight. But when you came back without anyone else, you got promoted to knight. 3. Student at a mage school. You are a student at one of the best mage schools, unfortunately you got one of the strictest and rudest masters to teach you. They were hard on you, and never let you have any fun. He was still willing to risk his life for you.

Those are the ideas I have, at least to start. But we can change them depending on your preference and any ideas you may have. Please keep in mind this is a story plot, not a smut plot. If that’s fine the please use SpongeBob as the password.

She's a bit brusque, surly, and kinda thinks of herself as being so much above the usual rabble who come in on the weekends to rent National Lampoon and Police Academy movies while she enjoys real art like trashy European horror and erotica in her shit-box studio apartment. The setting is vague; we can plot and scheme together.

I had this ideal of a dark romance where two characters meet during a masquerade and fall for one another during the evening.

Now, hear me out. I do NOT wish for an extremely toxic relationship. However, I do like the idea of both characters being equally enamored with one another, to the point of it being (a bit) obsessive. Thus, morally grey characters or even villains are very welcome for this idea.

I seek tension, of course, but I prefer the troubles to come from outside the relationship, rather than from inside.

Perhaps they are not meant to be together, or maybe someone fears what they could do together - whatever it may be, I want our characters to defeat the odds together at the end.

Still, I am open to some rather dark themes and questionable decisions from our characters, as long as we keep cheating off the table. I can excuse murder; I draw the line at any form of cheating.

If this is set in a low or high fantasy setting, or perhaps even something more realistic, I am adaptable either way. Let us create this world and setting together!

Crimson red curtains draped over the windows reflected the candlelight. Small flames flickered in the golden candelabras. Perfume and incense alike curled through this massive hall. Everything held a meaning here, no matter if it was about how the people moved their hands. Or how they held their champagne glasses. Even the colors they wore, the shape of their masks, it all held a meaning. But that meaning only made sense to those who paid close attention, who knew things others did not.

There were masks made out of porcelain. Others were gilded and extravagant enough to make even high society look at them with surprise. Meanwhile,, some people decided to conceal their entire face just to be sure. Feathers stuck from some, colorful and in various sizes. The affluent did not shy away from adding small pearls and other gemstones to their masks. It was more than a status symbol.

Silk brushed against velvet. Skirts reached the ground easily. Cloaks were nearly as long, brushing against the polished marble floor. Nothing seemed real here; no one seemed themselves. Particularly not those who engaged in conversation, giggling and snickering about things that seemed to drip with venom, even when the words themselves should be seen as something pleasant. Everything was a weapon here. Even how the ladies held their fans was a signal one needed to know how to read.

Dark roses were littering the space, even curling up the dark staircase on the side. Behind it was a path leading into the shadowed secret of this place. Secrets were everywhere.

Names were irrelevant, but their reputation was not. It was a delicate balance between not knowing who was in front of you and having to suspect the correct one to make the right decision.

In the middle of the room, people danced like in a dream. The music was slow, almost intoxicating. People guided their partners through elegant spins. Not a single bare hand touched anyone tonight, for everyone wore gloves. Some moved perfectly synchronized with the waltz while others leaned in close to whisper secret words.

In a corner stood a short, stout woman. Her gown was the color of the midnight sky, scattered with tiny silver stars. It reflected the light with every movement. The bodice was a shade darker than the skirt, with a sweetheart neckline, showing off the various moles that littered her neck. Several layers served to make the skirt appear impressive.

A silver mask hid her face, shaped with crescent-like curves and adorned with a few light blue feathers. Her natural curly auburn hair had been pinned up with a few star-shaped pins. A silver necklace rested on her chest, and a simple bracelet slid down her white glove every now and then. In one hand, she held a fan that looked just like her gown, fanning her face a little; she sighed deeply after a while. With no one having approached her just yet, she closed the fan slowly, indicating that she was growing bored of this lonely situation.

The lady she had talked with a few moments ago had been stolen away for a dance some time ago, leaving her waiting impatiently for someone to make the first move. After all, it would be most unseemly for a lady to approach someone first.

I’ve done a lot of 1:1 roleplays and I’ve been in some big group servers with 20+ people… but have you ever tried something with only 3-4 players? The kind of RP where you’re fully immersed in the story, you actually know every character, and the world feels alive because you’re building it together instead of getting lost?

I want to world build with a few like-minded people who enjoy collaborative storytelling. We’ll all have a couple of main characters, keep the cast tight, and really dig into the relationships and tension.

I enjoy all kinds of romance and I’m happy to explore a range of tropes. Your IRL gender doesn’t matter to me. All I ask is you willing to build the world with me, open to collaboration and write at least 3-4 paragraphs for reach response.

Setting idea (very open to adjusting):

Willow Creek is a quaint community nestled in the heart of the American Midwest, founded during the pioneer days. Over the years it has grown but remains a small, tight-knit town, insulated from the outside world. To city dwellers it might seem dull, to country folks it’s a slice of paradise.

At the center of the community is the local church, pastored by Nathaniel Hawthorne. A war veteran whose family has deep roots in Willow Creek since the 1800s. As a devoted father of two grown daughters, Nathaniel is increasingly worried about the future of his family and, by extension, the future of their town.

We could portray Pastor Hawthorne’s daughters as main characters. The rest of us could play the main male characters, mostly revolving around the daughters’ love interests. One idea: a city boy who’s dating (or pursuing) the elder daughter. Another: a local “hero” type who’s adored by nearly everyone in town… but who’s a bit more sinister under the surface. I’d love to keep a sense of exciting tension running through the story with other interesting local characters in the mix.

Realmwalkers

Realmwalkers follows an interpretation of shamans, spiritual people. Realmwalkers are people who can see the dead, and can make a contract with a spirit for power to slay demons. Anyone can become a realmwalker if they have the affinity for it (Coin toss whether a person is born with affinity). That being said, it comes with the downside that at night, without shelter you might be hunted by demons, although depending on the realmwalker, they see this as a blessing or a curse seeing as their spirit feeds on the blood of said demons.

Spirits

Spirits were once human. Humans who died with regret, pain or anger. Their soul still lingering in the hope of finding salvation or in some cases, a realmwalker to partner with. After a spirit dies, they take on a new name, one of mythos and legends to draw power from.

Plot

After being saved by a realmwalker, you are offered a choice to become a realmwalker, or said realmwalker forgot to mention touching a stone he had possessed awakens said affinity. After being told you are a realmwalker, it becomes clear there is more to the story than just realmwalkers fighting demons. You learn there is a demon king that could wipe out humanity, yet chooses not to. You learn of the founders (The first demon hunters), and that they had a fate that didn't end in drinking, partying and enjoying life. You also learn about the tree of life, where souls go to reincarnate, which begs the question, have you all not forgotten a piece of the puzzle that could explain everything.

What do I want from an rp partner?

• Someone who doesn't headbutt themselves a lot about the lore, yes there is lore to fill in narrative gaps, but this mostly contains stories of what happened during an event or before the official story begins

• Write at least 5 lines+ more is always welcome but multi para responses are difficult for me to respond to. I do accept them but note our writing skills might differ a lot (Don't take it the wrong way, it means you are better at writing than me and that I wasn't up to par).

• Please note I am a wage worker, I work from 7am till 4pm for 4 days (Monday Tuesday and Thursday Friday), Which means, I can make multiple responses sometimes or sometimes I vanish for hours. Its not me ghosting you, its me valueing my job. Have patience with me please.

My Writing Style:

I write in novella/semi-novella style in the third person past tense. The length of my writing can depend on what my partner gives me back. I don’t like to write massive posts because I think that a good back-and-forth with roleplaying is needed. Generally speaking, you’ll get anywhere between two hundred to four hundred words from me.  Unless I’m setting up something or writing out an action scene. That being said, I like details a lot. I like to paint a picture and “set the scene” so to speak.

Please bear in mind, I also am a NSFW writer. All of my stories feature adult content. I don’t do fade to black and have no desire to do so. All posts should be marked accordingly but just to make sure there’s no confusion that’s a significant part of what I’m looking for. If we’re talking ratio, I tend to go fifty fifty. But again, my version of fifty fifty is not a smut heavy thing. It’s just that I don’t shy away from those scenes and want our characters romance to shine through. 

What I Need From A Partner:

Third-person past tense is a MUST with me. I’m also looking for writers who write more than one sentence. If you can match me great! If not, then at least be willing to provide details and “set the scene” with me.

Also, I’m terrible at doing RP on Reddit. It's just not something I check besides checking on my requests. So while I can be convinced for the right partner, I vastly prefer Discord or Google Docs. 

Availability:

My availability is all over the place right now. I have a full-time job and a side hustle. So, sometimes, I can reply multiple times a week, and sometimes, I can only reply once a week. It really depends on how my schedule shakes out. If you’re the type of person who needs replies everyday I’m not your partner. However, if you can be patient with me, I promise to be patient with you and bring my A-Game when I do reply.

Today, I’d like to boldly go! That’s right, I’m interested in some Star Trek-related plots. I’ve got a few you can find below. I’ve got a few options for various timelines and different era’s of Star Trek to explore.

Idea 1.  This one takes place during the Star Trek Online universe. An era when Starfleet became increasingly militarized. MC would be a captain and against that. He insists on keeping to Starfleet's original intent. He decided to take the best and brightest from Starfleet's graduating class aboard a brand-spanking-new starship to complete that mission.

Enter YC.  Top of her class with brains and beauty. She’s chosen as MC's first officer. The two of them have chemistry that can’t be denied. Space is lonely and the two of them quickly arrange an agreement.

What happens behind closed doors between a Captain and First Officer needs no saying.

Idea 2. Similar(ish), I’d love to do something based in Starfleet Academy. Maybe even featuring multiple characters? We can do any sort of pairing. Two Roomates, Classroom rivals turned lovers, something more taboo. Skies the limit!

Idea 3. Your more classic Star Trek flair! A ship, a crew, a journey! Space is the final frontier and there’s plenty of opportunity for shenanigans to happen! Are we crew? Officers? And there are plenty of species to go about as well!

Hello everyone! First of all, I want to give a small warning. I typically write DD:DNE plots, so essentially, if you don’t like the dead dove, don’t eat it.
What exactly is the dead dove? You may ask. Well, I prefer to write abusive/problematic dynamics, angsty plots, mental health issues/religious psychosis and explorations of bad pasts/childhoods and how they affect adult characters during the storyline. My hard limit is minor characters (17 and under), as I also write smut. 

With that out of the way, let me introduce myself. I’m Hannah, I go by she/it, I’m a 20 year old woman, and I’m from Ireland. I’m an advanced literate writer that’s been writing for about 8 years, and I typically write FxF and in 3rd person only. Being from Ireland, my timezone is GMT+1, but I’m a night owl so I can work around pretty much any timezone to respond at least twice a day.

Before I say what I am looking for, I should preface that the character I am looking to write is technically a canon character from the game The Outlast Trials, named Liliya Bogomolova- but you do not have to know anything about her or the outlast trials to roleplay with me, as I have a full bio for her written out that has all you would need to know.

But the one thing you should definitely know before dming me in case it's not your cup of tea is that she is a very religious over zealous Russian cult leader that fought in ww2 as a teen, so if that is not something you would enjoy, no worries!

Your irl gender doesn’t mean anything to me, but I am pretty strict about it being a 60’s setting for Liliya’s storyline to make any sense, so I do need someone aware of the nuances of how the attitudes of the time towards women and queer people would affect the story! Either way, no matter your irl gender, I request that when you send me a writing sample, it is a sample of you writing a woman, so I know that you can in the first place!

I’m not too strict about length. Quality over quantity for sure, but I won't be responding well to a low effort single paragraph or anything, so let’s keep good and frequent ooc communication going so we can make sure we're both getting enough from one another to keep the story fulfilling for both of us! Smut wise, I prefer to have chemistry going and for it to make sense story wise, so smut to story ratio can really be anything depending on how well our characters mesh. 

Plot wise, I don’t have any dead set requirements beyond a 1960’s setting, and it doesn’t have to be OVERLY accurate to the time either, given that the character I would like to use is implied to be sort of supernatural. She is also very versatile, and I can place her anywhere in any scenario, as her being ‘lead by God’ is the explanation for her presence pretty much anywhere. We can do something more tropey like cult leader x follower, patient x staff or patient x patient in an asylum, or whatever, or we can come up with something a bit more personalised! I love forced proximity, toxic yuri (of course), the whole lot, so I’ll be happy to brainstorm with you!

Hey hey! Jin Locke here and i am searching for people to RP with!

I am looking to try and find new RP partners interested in RPing various fandoms that i am interested in. I prefer to play with literate RP partners who can achieve a paragraph length, and maybe go beyond that if really inspired. Sorry, but two-three sentence responses are just way too short for me to truly enjoy the RP. There is no set limit on "max length" but i wouldnt want you to exhaust yourself typing novellas! Just keep it comfortable but detailed.

I am 27 yo and so expect it to eventually get into NSFW zone, BUT if you dont want to then its also fine to me, we can keep it as a more "innocent" romance. RP can be long or short term, but long terms are preferable since they allow us to explore more themes in it.

4 - While we each worked on a few projects before, our careers in Movies didn't take off until our first collaboration. Ever since then, we have worked on ever single project together, to various extents. Perhaps we are a Dirctor & Actor pair, or Director & Producer, maybe Director & Screenwriter. Whatever the situation, it became clear we are at our best together, and that's how we are first drawn together.
