So it's finally here, huh.
Tier 11 has been officially announced today. Although WG had already shared some screenshots of the tanks in their social media and streams, the big announcement came today in the game's news tab. In this post I will detail all info we currently have on tier 11, some general info about them, and go into detail on all the nine tanks confirmed to be coming in the first batch. For visual reference, the order of the tanks in the pictures is as follows: AS-XX 40 t (pic 3), XM69 Hacker (pic 4), Object 432U (pic 5), Taschenratte (pic 6), KR-1 (pic 7), BZ-79 (pic 8), Black Rock (pic 9), Ho-Ri 4 (pic 10), and finally, the Hirschkäfer (pic 11).
What is tier 11? General info
Tier 11 (or XI) is the next tier coming into Blitz (duh). It was already introduced into WoT PC and WoWS, and now Blitz is next. Nine tier 11 tanks will be taken from WoT PC and added in the first batch: The AS-XX 40 t, the XM69 Hacker, the Object 432U, the Taschenratte, the KR-1, the BZ-79, the Black Rock, the Ho-Ri 4 (Shugo), and the Hirschkäfer.
Notice how I said "batch"? That is because in PC, tier 11s come in batches of a few tanks every few updates. It is very possible that we will get more tanks in further batches taken from PC, such as the Leopard 120, which comes from the Leopard 1, the Breaker, which comes from the Badger (in PC the 183 was removed and replaced with the Badger in the tech tree), the T803, which comes from the T110E5, the Imbattable, which comes from the AMX 50 B, etc.
Tier 11s are unique in that they are not just upgraded versions of their previous tanks in the tech tree. They also feature abilities, different for each tank, that in Blitz will probably be activated in some cases via a fourth consumable (similar to the Titan tanks or the abilities in Mad Games/Uprising), and in some cases, they will be automatic and you won't have to press anything. These abilities have been confirmed by WG in one of the streams to not be the exact same from PC, so it is expected that some tier 11s will have the same abilities from PC and some will not.
Tier 11s will arrive early next year, in what WG calls "our big update - Update 12.0". Currently, these nine initial tier 11s are in testing. It is mentioned that eight of the tier 11s will continue old tech tree branches, while one will be available through activities. I am 99% sure that that one tank is the Black Rock, since in PC the Black Rock is the mission tank.
You will be able to unlock these tanks by "simply playing and progressing the game naturally"; this probably just means grinding the tier 11 by playing the tier 10. Do note that unlocking the tier 11 is not the end of the grind. Tier 11s will come stock, and you will have to upgrade them through an upgrade tree. Fortunately, the XP costs (at least in PC) are affordable and you will be able to get each upgrade in a few battles, depending on your WR. It is similar to how after getting a tank you had to grind the crew of a tank from 50/75% until WG removed it like a year and half ago.
The tier 11s:
As I mentioned, nine tier 11s are coming in the first batch. They are the following:The AS-XX 40 t, the XM69 Hacker, the Object 432U, the Taschenratte, the KR-1, the BZ-79, the Black Rock, the Ho-Ri 4 (Shugo), and the Hirschkäfer.
We'll go over each of them and I'll share my opinion on the abilities, but do note that all info that I mention is info taken from WoT PC, and as such, will most probably be changed when they are added into Blitz, especially the abilities, since WG has confirmed that not all tier 11s will have the same abilities that they do in PC. Depending on how complicated the ability is, the amount of time I dedicate to explaining each of them will change. Lastly, all these stats are taken from the stock version of these tanks and their abilities, that is why all the tanks are slightly weaker than their tier 10 counterpart. Obviously, the tier 11s will be better than their tier 10 counterparts once they are fully upgraded.
AS-XX 40 t - French light
The AS-XX 40 t (I'll just call it ASXX from now on) comes after the Batchat 25t. It has basically the same gun and magazine as the BC, same goes for the pen. It has more gun depression (8°) and a bit more speed. The shell velocity decreases a bit, the gun becomes a bit less accurate and the camo becomes worse because it is bigger than the BC. It also loses the auto ricochet upper plate from the BC. The ASXX has no armor, in general.
You could, in theory, have a troll turret and gunblock by moving the turret around if the enemy fires heat, since the gun is huge and what is left of the turret that is not the gun is smaller. Think of it like a Chimera turret, but better, since the gun is bigger. If the enemy fires AP or APCR this advantage obviously goes out the window. It will damage your gun, but you will not lose HP. We'll see how it's implemented in Blitz, this is only speculation.
Its ability is that you can choose how many rounds to load; basically, it's an autoreloader. You can stop the reload at any point, or let all shells load (which takes around 33 seconds). However, the catch is huge, and that is that while using the ability, you become useless. See those two canisters at the rear of tank? When you activate your ability, they go up, connect into the turret, and then you start reloading. This take three seconds. Your turret locks in the forward position and you cannot fire. Then, when you deactivate the ability, you need another three seconds for the canisters to go down, and then your turret unlocks and you can fire.
In my opinion, this ability is useless in close quarters and cities/towns, since the moment an enemy sees that your canisters went up and you are reloading, they'll just poke and get a shot into you, maybe two depending on their intraclip, and back into cover before you can lower your canisters and shoot them back. This ability is therefore best used when you are hidden and know that you are safe or have teammates covering you; another option is running away. Another thing to note is that you don't lose DPM when you shoot further into the clip, since all the shells have the same reload time individually.
XM69 Hacker - American medium
The XM69 Hacker comes after the M48 Patton. You get a slight DPM, alpha and pen increase. You get pretty much the same aim time, accuracy, dispersion, gun depression, top speed, a slight health increase, although the camo upgrade is noticeable. The turret is better armored and you lose the cupola from the Patton (not like people are aiming in on a Patton's cupola anyway besides unicums), but you lose the troll, boat shaped hull, and the hull is a pen frontally on both the lower and upper plate. In short, you get a better turret for a worse hull.
Its ability is basically just reticle cali. You get more accurate for around two or three shots before the ability enters the cool down.
Object 432U - Soviet medium
The Object 432U will come after either the T-62A or the Object 140. It is also possible that it is added along with its line (the Object 430 line, which is another soviet medium line), though I doubt it. If I had to say if it would come from the T-62A or Object 140, I would suspect that it would come from the Object 140. Since in Blitz we don't have the Object 430 line, I don't have the tier 10 of the line to compare it to. Just expect a slightly upgraded T-62A or 140 (remember that I'm talking about these tanks in their stock stats).
Its ability is that it gets to charge up shells for a higher alpha. You cannot charge while reloading, so you can't hide, charge your shell and then poke; you have to poke, exposing your turret, and then charge, or charge while you're moving to poke. You can charge for about six seconds total for a full charge, but you can fire at any point in the charge up time, and the more you charge the more alpha you deal, up to 25% more. In PC this takes the tank's 460 alpha to 600 alpha, but do not trust that fact, as alpha damages in WoT PC are a lot higher than in Blitz (the PC Ho-Ri does 700 alpha and the Blitz one does 560, the PC E 100 with the 15cm does 750, the Blitz one does 640, the PC T110E3 and T110E4 do 750, the Blitz ones do 680 and 640 respectively, and so on.) Expect an alpha increase from like 330 to 450 in Blitz.
However, if you charge up fully, after four seconds, the gun will lock up and you will not be able to fire. In the six seconds that you can charge, you have three stages with an alpha increase from one to the other; it's not an alpha increase that climbs up. Therefore, you have to poke, charge, and then fire before ten seconds pass or else you don't fire at all. Alternatively, you can be smarter and charge while you are moving to poke, but you will have less time to close your aiming circle and to aim for weakspots, therefore you will be closer to the four second grace period after you fully charge.
Taschenratte - German superheavy
The Taschenratte comes after the Maus. The DPM, alpha and health get a marginal increase, the pen gets a nice buff of 19, the aim time. The aim time is the same, the dispersion and mobility get a small nerf, and, weirdly enough, the camo gets a slight buff. The armor gets a buff and the cheeks get smaller, however, you get a corner plate in your turret that if you overangle will become penetrable, and you have two rangefinders, one on each side of the turret, that are an autopen if you angle (these may not be transfered into Blitz since they are just tiny little bulbs and they should, in theory, count as spaced armor).
Its ability is that it gets two HE 90mm coaxial guns that get around 80 to 90 mm or pen and deal around 250 alpha with HE per gun (so 500 in total if you pen both rounds). Their reload time is 40 seconds. In reality, what this ability is good for is finishing off people on very low health by splashing them, compensating a lowroll, or taking off tracks. And, of course, dealing 500 alpha if you get to a Shitbarn or a 50 B's side.
KR-1 - Soviet heavy
The KR-1 comes after the IS-7. It gets a nice alpha increase, the DPM, pen and aim time get a slight increase. The shell velocity takes a big hit, and the dispersion becomes a bit worse. The speed is the same. You get a cupola, unlike the IS-7, but it is small and 310mm thick. However, the KR-1 gets a shot trap; the IS-7's turret curved upward, so shells that bounced went up. The KR-1'S turret is C shaped, kind of like a Maus but not as pronounced as the Maus, meaning that shots that bounce have a chance to go down into the very thin deck. The KR-1 may also inherit the IS-7'S weak ammo rack; we don't really know at the moment. The armor is pretty much the same.
Its ability is not really an ability per se, but instead, a huge buff to its ramming damage. There is a clip out there of a KR-1 going downhill at full speed and ramming an IS-7 for 2000. And if you go 40 (top speed is 60) you can hit people for 500, depending on their weight and if they're moving (if you hit a Foch you can do 500 when they're sitting still and if you hit a Leopard 1 you can do 1000 if they're sitting still).
BZ-79 - Chinese heavy
The BZ-79 comes after the BZ-75. It does not have the option of running the 130mm or 152mm, and you only get the 152mm. It gets a decent alpha boost, the aim time and turret traverse is slightly better, but the gun retains the derpiness of the BZ-75's 152mm. You lose one of the three turret roof weakspots (left, right, and the middle bar) and in return you get two cupolas, with one being noticeably smaller than the other one. However, they are overmatchable by 152mm+ guns. You also lose the pikenose and get a standard hull shape in return, but you also get a raised plate on your rear that you can pen if the tank is angled. You also lose the weak cheeks when going hulldown, and you get a tougher turret.
Its ability is a different type of rockets. In Blitz, we did not get rockets, but in WoT PC, the entire BZ-75 line gets a set amount of rockets that make you faster. They last for ten seconds and have a four second cooldown, so you can get into position pretty early in games. The BZ-79's rockets have infinite uses, lasting for ten seconds, but their cooldown is much longer, at 25 seconds. However, I don't think this will be an issue, since the maps in Blitz are much smaller than the ones in PC. Since in Blitz we did not get any rockets at all when the BZ-75 released, we'll have to see which version of the rockets we get, the BZ-75 rockets or the BZ-79 rockets.
Black Rock - American heavy
The Black Rock does not come from any line, and will most likely be the tank obtainable through activities (activities as in missions, like in WoT PC). It's basically just a T110E5 clone. 420 alpha, ten second reload, nice aim time and gun handling, 8° of gun depression, decent speed for a heavy. Same amount of hull armor, but it does not get the boat shaped hull the E5 has. Instead, it has weak corner plates, and when it's hulldown, it has two bulbs on the front of the hull that are pennable, located near the turret. That means that if you overpoke, you will be penned. However, if you play right, it's impenetrable hulldown, since it has a Concept 1B/Tornvagn style turret.
Its ability is that you have two bars at the bottom of your reticle (think of them like the tungsten bar you get at the side of your reticle), and if you hit two consecutive shots, the bar fills up completely. Once it fills up, the next shot you fire will be a double shot with a 1.5 second intraclip, like an M-VI-Yoh. You will always have this clip once the bar is ready; you cannot save it for later or fire just one shot. This double shot clip does not cost you any alpha or DPM, and you get the normal ten second reload afterwards. After you fire your clip, you go back to being a single shot until you pen two consecutive shots again.
My opinion is, when tier 11 drops, get this thing the moment it does. If its ability is not changed from PC, the Black Rock when fully upgraded will actually just stomp on almost every tank in a good player's hands, and my prediction is that you will see probably a lot of them once the general playerbase completes enough missions to get it, although I don't think the general playerbase would know that they can't expose themselves too much in the Black Rock or they'll be hit in the bulbs under the turret. I sincerely hope its ability is changed or nerfed when it's brought over to Blitz. But keep in mind this is just how I see it if the Black Rock's ability enters Blitz one for one.
Ho-Ri 4 - Japanese tank destroyer
The Ho-Ri 4 (or "Shugo" as it's called in PC) obviously comes after the Ho-Ri. This tank is actually the only tank from our initial tier 11 batch that is not part of WoT PC's original tier 11 batch. It keeps the insane pen and strong alpha and reload, it has the same style of armor (strong, but it becomes easy to pen once you load prammo), but the lower plate is huge and easy to pen, so it's not as troll as the Ho-Ri. The gun handling, aiming time and mobility in general are also slightly worse.
Its ability is similar to the Taschenratte, in that you get a 600 alpha HE rocket with 80mm of penetration and a 45 second reload. This rocket has horrible shell velocity, and it cannot be controlled like the missiles of the Sheridan and Kampfpanzer missile. Think of it like a Caliban shell. You can use it like the coaxial guns on the Taschenratte to track or finish off oponents, but since its alpha is much higher than the Taschenratte's coaxials (600 alpha vs 250 per coaxial gun) you could use to splash enemies as well.
Hirschkäfer - German tank destroyer
We have finally arrived to the last tank of this list. The Hirschkäfer comes after the Grille 15. The DPM gets a slight upgrade, but you go back to a 128mm lower alpha gun. The pen is almost the same, and you actually get the old Grille turret turn limit of 50°, 57° with the upgrades (yes, this tank can't turn its turret fully either). The aim time and dispersion are a bit better, along with the camo, which gets a nice buff. You also get the same top speed, and get 8° of gun depression. It also keeps the terrible armor, but the turret will be harder to HE since it's a much smaller target.
Its ability is similar to the 432U, in that you can charge up your gun to gain more alpha. However, the Hirschkäfer has the advantage of always ammoracking a tank if their HP is below your alpha if you charge your shot. You cannot charge while reloading, just like in the 432U. When you activate the ability, you have to wait two seconds, and then it starts charging. After those two seconds, you can charge for a maximum of 14 seconds. However, unlike the 432U, the alpha while charging does not have stages, and it climbs up bit by bit. The Hirschkäfer has 600 alpha (remember that we're talking about WoT PC, and tanks in PC have much higher alphas that the same tanks in Blitz do), which goes up to 800 after you charge completely. In Blitz, imagine it being like 460 alpha, and 600 to 650 when you're fully charged up. Also, as I said before, if you are charging and the enemy tank is below your alpha, you ammorack them every time. Now this might seem useless, but what it actually does is prevent lowrolls entirely, since an ammorack obviously instakills a tank. Unlike the 432U however, you can hold the shot once you're fully charged, but only if you stay still or move very slowly.
What order should I get these tanks in?
In my opinion, if all of these tanks have the exact same abilities from WoT PC (which I'm sure not all of them will), I would get the new tier 11s in this order, either because they seem competitive or because they seem fun, and if all the abilities are the same as in PC:
Black Rock>Taschenratte>KR-1>Ho-Ri 4>Hirschkäfer>XM69 Hacker>BZ-79>Object 432U>AS-XX 40 t.
And that's about it! Thanks for reading if you made it this far.

Just wondering if it's worth grinding the elite XP now?

This is my first time seeing a guy in the garage. I know they exist in-game but this is the only event I can remember having one inside.
Has there been any event that had people inside in the past years?

Currently there’s the Concept 1B in store but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. A note is that I’m a fan of HT, my gameplay is 80% frontline-10%hull down-10% shoot n run. I’m considering the KPz 70 or the super conqueror but I’m not sure when they’ll be on sale.

WG teasers tier 11 tanks, so they are focused on old blitz again. Does this mean they forget reforged? Because there wasn't any info about reforged from starting of summer

So I need to grind about 1mil to buy a tier X tank. I've got several collector and premium vehicles, but I'm struggling to find which one is the best to farm with, mainly because I'm really unaware of how credits are calculated ingame.
For instance, the Angry Connor has a credit multiplier of 2.0, which is quite nice, but it's a tier V.
On the other hand, the 59-patton has a credit multiplier of 1.4 which is worse, but the tank also is a higher tier.
In the meantime some other tanks that are easier to play have worse credit multipliers. Do worse tanks have better multipliers by design to balance them out? Is it better to play a high tier tank with a worse multiplier or the contrary? Is there an easy way to find a a chart of tanks and their multipliers instead of going back and forth with a blitz viewer website?
Thanks!

I might just be unlucky to not get a game in these but I highly doubt that, I must have missed an update where they were taken away?

Hi.
So today, I was forced by WG to move from original Microsoft Store WoTB client to the new one.
And the experience is not as smooth and polished as the old client. Even tho I have same 120fps as in the old client, the game is running stuttery, the mouse moves are kinda glitchy/weird - clearly something isnt right.
I had these same problems with the Steam version for years, thats why I used to play MS store version.
Even Droodles Blitz made a video about this: https://youtu.be/ISSP6ZZuPlc?si=BnwvJOTsU2_5DLYa
I tried multiple tweaks in invidia control panel, but they did not work.
I tried setting my monitor from 144hz to 120hz, which is the only thing that helps a little with the stuttering (but still far from how it used to be in old client), but its not doing anything with the mouse moving feeling weird and glitchy.
I even tried forcing the Steam client to run on 144 fps (with forcing Vsync off via manually editing the game_options_local_options.dat file in HEX editor) but even tho the game was running on 144fps, the stuttering did not change.
I tried multiple options, Vsync on + Gsync on, Vsync off + fps cap + Gsync on... etc etc.
Its not about hardware (Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2070S, 16gb RAM)
Its not about internet (20 ping, no packet loss, 100/20 mbps ethernet)
Nothing changed on my side (software, hardware) from the time I used the old client.
What now ? Are you experiencing the same issues ? Please let WG know about this. They will probably hit you back with some lame tip like "have you tried turning your pc off and on ?" but dont give up.
This must change.

Pretty average medium tank. Nothing special

Used to play the game a lot about 9-10 years ago now. Got up to T8 at the time, stopped playing around the time that Italian tanks came out. Currently on a new account, mostly T5-7 tanks in garage rn.
Are any of the current shop T8 premiums worth buying for credit earning? Ik WG removed a lot of the strong tanks from the shop, not too familiar with the tanks left. My win rate and individual performance per game is solid (definitely not at sweat levels,) but obviously don’t want to throw money at a garbage tank. Just trying to get credits quicker. Thanks.
