What do OSHA inspectors want to see for SDS compliance?

I just had my first OSHA inspection. The compliance officer asked a floor worker to show him the SDS for the product on the worker's bench. The worker walked to the binder, flipped through it for three minutes, and couldn't find it. The officer wrote it up. The citation wasn't for not having the SDS. We had it. It was in a different section of the binder under a slightly different product name. The citation was for the SDS not being "readily accessible" to the employee during their work shift. Now I'm wondering what "readily accessible" actually means. Is there a time standard? Does digital access count? What else do inspectors check beyond just whether the SDS exists?

Reasonable Request for Employer to Ensure Safety

How does your employer ensure your safety or compensate for risks you encounter when entering someone's home. I work as a mobile crisis counselor and often go into homes with infestations or when a patient is verbally or physically agressive. I have also had coworkers assaulted by patients and workers compensation deny their claims. My employer expects us to use our personal cell phones and transportation, we do not have GPS tracking. We do complete a pre-visit screening and can go with a buddy or the police but put patients have lied and we have no written protocol.

Door impact safety in the workplace.

Are there any guidelines for swinging door safety requirements in the workplace? Looking to understand the business responsibility surrounding safety for employees and workers to prevent injuries from getting hit with opening doors, particularly in tight hallways and bathrooms.
