heh so with my totally legally obtained roms it doesn’t let me sooooo

Hello everyone, I had my Wii modded by the father of a friend like 8 years ago (I think) and the instructions I always got from him to install new games were to use WBFS manager. I never had a problem with it so I never gave it much thought.

However, recently I saw somewhere that WBFS manager was outdated and had potential for bugs and other undesirable effects. First of all, Is that true?

If it isn't then the problem is solved and I'll just keep doing it the way I used to. But if it is, what should I do? Gemini told me something about having to update the USB loader and then downloading all the games to my pc and then formatting the hard drive into a different format and then putting the games into the hard drive again but I'm afraid that I'll do it wrong and lose any games or my progress in said games.

Can anyone who understands of the matter tell me what to do (without losing anything or causing any damage if possible)

I know im not supposed to ask this but I dont know where to search, viims only has rev 1.1 and 1.2, I believe i need to have 1.0 version for building modded versions of the game for usbloaders, I used 1.2 and it gave me a black screen

Like the title suggests I need help with GameCube memory card emulation some games work like dbz budokai 2 but when I tried it for soul caliber 2 the game freezes on the character select and for other games they just don’t work any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, I'm having this problem where every time I play a GameCube game it freezes in the loading screen before I can play it. The games open fine, but when they get to start the actual thing, they freeze. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Nintendont app but it still happens. I will try to reinstall the games themselves to see if it works, so I will update on that. Anyway, can someone help me?

I’ve downloading the game from said place, the file has the correct ID & 32. But when I open my game I get a black screen and nothing happens. Is where I’m getting my file no good or what?

So i wanted to get a NAND backup just in case and run Linux, and I originally modded my Wii with a USB drive which I don’t have anymore and now I have an SD card. I put the boot.elf file in SD/apps/Hackmii but every time I go to the homebrew channel it’s not there. Can you fix this error?

I just modded my Wii last week with the latest cIOS and USB GX loader on a 128 gb SD card. I followed all the instructions on the guide. I loaded games from Vimm with TinyWiiBackup manager, and most of the games work just fine.

New Super Mario Bros Wii randomly freezes and the game goes unresponsive. The audio still plays, but the video is frozen and controls don’t work. I have to power off the Wii but I lose my save data in the game.

Super Mario Galaxy will 100% of the time freeze at the bowser cutscene and I have to shut off the Wii to fix it. I can’t get past the cutscene so I can’t even play!

Any ideas on what to do to fix?

Everytime I try to launch a game it just does this. Ive booted it from IOS 249, 250, and 58, and none have worked. I have the USB hard drive plugged into the right port too. It’s also doing this with another Wii I have. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

If you have:

- What game/engine was it?

- How far did you get, and what was the hardest part?

- Did it run well on real hardware, or only in Dolphin?

I'm trying to adapt shogun showdown as a Wii game at the moment

Everything worked in my Wii, but recently when i try to load any game (USB Loader GX), some games show the wrist strap advertise and some don't, and sometimes the WiiMote turn off and sometimes don't. The thing is that when it keeps on, only the home button works and I cannot start the game, and mostly the screen turn black and the WiiMote turn off. What should I do?
