I was involved in an auto accident where a State Farm insured driver drove into the side of my car. State Farm accepted that their driver was at fault.

My vehicle was considered totaled and I had a collision center do an estimate for repairs. I'd like to keep the car and make the necessary repairs. The insurance claims adjuster would like the vehicle towed to their salvage yard to determine a "pre-wreck" valuation of my car. In a previous claim(with GEICO though), an adjuster came to my home to see the vehicle and pulled the value of the vehicle from their computer system. Is it standard that State Farm wants to get possession of the vehicle at their salvage yard to determine a valuation?

Any input on this is much appreciated. Thank you.

This satuday, October 17th, at 1pm we are having a protest 🪧 against the illegal mass surveillance of flock cameras. Come join us at town East square at 1pm and let your voice be heard! Flock, as well as other mass surveillance technology is a clear violation of our 4th amendment rights. The city needs to remove these! But instead of removing them, they're doubling down and adding even more. When I first got involved in speaking out against flock, Wichita had 197 cameras. Now today, we have over 400 and counting!

I’m cleaning out the shed and really need to let go of my collection of coolers. I guess they’re used as shelters for outdoor cats (cut a hole, stuff with straw) so I will give them to a cat rescue if they want them.

2 days ago they cut service to route 26 for 4 hours leaving many of us late for work and appointments. Their excuse was “we don’t have enough drivers” what the fuck!!!!!!?? You have 3 to 4 buses running down Harry street at all times. You idiots couldn’t pull a driver or 2 off the routes that go every 30 mins? They left us stranded from 5am-10am. 26 is a major and busy route.

Then on Saturday the bus wasn’t taking cash, the cashbox was broken. So they pulled the bus off the route and stranded us for 2 hours. I hate the new routes, the new times have us waiting at the depot for 20 mins before we pull out. It’s horrible!

There is this one driver who switches at 930 at the depot and she is habitually slow and late. She has made us sit there for 10 mins past the time we are scheduled to leave while she walks as slow as she can back and forth to the window while stopping and chatting with passengers. Then she gets on the bus and takes an extra 5 or 10 mins to wipe down every square inch of her drivers area like the other drivers have some disease. She is one of the worst I have ever run into and I have been taking the bus almost daily since 2016.

I hate taking the bus. But I have no choice. I actually feel better after venting this out. I am pissed cause I literally wasted 2 day passes ($10) on buses that never came. I had to uber with money I don’t have.

Does anyone recall the intro sequence that played before movies at the Warren movie theatres between the 1990s and 2010? It changed either shortly before or right after the IMAX on the west side opened.

The sequence was 90s CGI with hover cars flying around a futuristic city, lining up at a futuristic Warren Theatres. There were two short sequences, one for no cell phones (a giant cellphone with a circle slash through it) and one for not propping your feet up on the chair in front of you.
