…and back 🌕

Curious if this happened to anyone else: I put in an application in the summer of 2025, made it through 2 interviews and then crickets. I went ahead and reapplied last month. A few days after I submitted, I got a request to interview with my spouse that was clearly based on last year's application and then yesterday, I got an email for a first round interview on the new application with the same producer 🫣. Do I need to mention the overlapping years or just move forward with the interview? I don't feel super confident in last year's application cycle auditions, so I'm excited for a re-do, but I don't want to look like I'm wasting their time either.

For those who have been on the show, did any of you get asked to audition for a theme week and yet still get selected for a regular, vanilla WoF taping? I'm just trying to assess if being offered to audition again for a theme week is a sign that I'm no longer being considered for a regular taping.

Mine would be slam dunk a category about basketball

Anyone know if the million dollar wedge goes back on the wheel if someone else loses it (ie. through a bankrupt?)

Welcome to Week 5! This is Day 1 of NBA Week. This week was taped on September 8, 2026, and is the first taped week without Jim Thornton as announcer. What are your thoughts?

Will each contestant represent a specific NBA team?

I remember he used to do videos talking about different adaptions of game shows and the video I remember is the one about the Thai version of Wheel of Fortune but for some reason I cant find him or his channel anymore

Tonight's Players: Lennon Parham, Cedric the Entertainer, and Kevin Smith. I forgot to put the spoiler tag for a few weeks until now, so I did it for this episode. That was a big mistake. What are your thoughts.

This is Day 5 of "Wheel Loves L.A."! What are your thoughts, and will we have a Bonus Round Win?

The contestant interviews are WAY too long. It’s no wonder they don’t have time to play round four. There needs to be time limit on each interview. Back in the old days, they didn’t take so long and share their life stories or spend so much time talking about their hobbies, family life, or what not. There were so many complaints about that last season and it got carried over into this season too so far especially during weeks that use the old toss-up format. Why can’t we go back to making the interviews short and sweet again?

This is Day 4 of "Wheel Loves L.A."! What are your thoughts?

I just started watching Wheel more frequently and I'm noticing that the person who wins the prize puzzle always seems to go on to win. Isn't this like...an inherently wrong way to structure things? Like, someone would have to earn at least $8-10k or more on just puzzles to be able to surpass that.

I feel like when you win the prize, the trip VALUE shouldn't be added to your total earnings. Wasn't it like that in Sajak days??

This is Day 3 of "Wheel Loves L.A."! What are your thoughts?

Come hang out with other Wheel Watchers and Word Nerds as we watch/talk about Wednesday’s Wheel of Fortune episode LIVE at 7:25pm Eastern/6:25pm Central.

Happy National Taco Day! This is Day 2 of "Wheel Loves L.A."! What are your thoughts?

Welcome to Week 4! This is Day 1 of "Wheel Loves L.A.", taped on May 18, 2026, the first taping day of the season. This is also the FINAL FULL WEEK where the $1,000 and $2,000 Toss-Ups, the interviews in between, and the old Bonus Round wheel are present. What are your thoughts?

I know Pat Sakai would refer to Jim by name multiple times throughout the show: “Jim, tell her what she’s won.” It seems miraculous that Ryan never refers to Jim by name, and they’ve been seamlessly editing in the replacement announcer.
I don’t watch everyday so let me know if you’ve noticed any creative editing around not mentioning Jim.

hi after I submitted an application I received some emails from a contestant producer at wheel. I was obviously very excited, immediately signed up for a time slot. but I am always cautious as I got a little confused by their emails.

The correspondence is coming from an email with @/spe.sony.com

i just was wondering if anyone could help me confirm because unfortunately I’ve been scammed in the past

or go over standard procedures so I know it’s in line.
