A saucy sanding

Post image

I live in a dry county (yes, those are still a thing), so naturally, everyone just drives across the border to purchase alcohol. This is the very first gas station you hit in Oklahoma. I wonder how many cases of beer have slid across this countertop over the years.

How the hell do you still have Prohibition?

Is it even enforceable?

I could be wrong but I believe it’s only illegal to sell alcohol in said county. But posesion of alcohol is not illegal.

Possession can still be illegal in some place as well

Illegal to sell or purchase alcohol. Possession and consumption is fine. Some restaurants may serve it. It's the Bible-belt so I can't make much sense of any of it. It honestly just makes people drink and drive if the roadside litter is any indication.
