📸 Wedding Photographers ($10k) NYC brides, would you book this for wedding photos in Central Park??

Hi everyone!

I came across this Central Park photoshoot at Bethesda Terrace and was wondering if something like this would be worth booking for a couple’s photos.

Has anyone done a session like this? I’d love to hear what you’d look for in terms of photo quality, posing guidance, and the overall experience before booking. Would you go this route or look for someone independently? We will be traveling to NYC for the next few weeks so thought I'd try it out!

Personally I don’t like the quality of the photos for the photographer you posted - you get what you pay for.

True! We aren't doing an official engagement shoot so I am viewing it as a practice for posing!

If it’s just to practice posing, I’d recommend booking an engagement shoot with the photographer you’re actually using for the wedding so you can get comfortable with them and their style specifically. It won’t be valuable to pay a random amateur photographer to help you pose.

Agreed. They'll learn how to guide you and what your personalities are like so things go more smoothly on the wedding day. Some photographers even throw it in free because it makes life easier for them too.

Unfortunately we won't get that opportunity since we are getting married abroad! We opted for extending an hour in our package instead of the engagement shoot. Will try the shoot an report back!

This is a legit link (I know this person through photographer pages) but the reason it is discounted so much is they are trying to build their portfolio, the images advertised are not theirs I think.

If you want an affordable professional, check your chat requests :)

Note that most photographers in NYC charge at least $400/hr for shoots like these.
