COMMUNITY REMINDER - QUICK CHECK!
Before you post, take a quick look:
POST IN THE RIGHT PLACE
- General discussions, opinions, trends, etc. -> Monthly General Discussion Thread
- Writing help, feedback, brainstorming, plot ideas, etc. -> Weekly Writers Thread
- Tea/Rants -> Designated Tea & Rant days only
- Please don't make a separate post for something meant for a thread.
TALKING ABOUT AN AUTHOR/USER?
- Keep the focus on the book, writing or content - not the person.
- Usernames must be censored for general criticism, AI content, cringe reels, stereotypes, poor writing, etc.
- Don't share anyone's real name, photos, Instagram DP, personal information or private identity.
- Don't try to find, expose or speculate about someone's private identity.
MAKING A SERIOUS CLAIM?
- Don't present rumours or assumptions as facts.
- Claims of plagiarism, fraud or other serious wrongdoing need credible evidence.
- Uncensored usernames in such cases require Mod approval before posting.
KEEP IT RESPECTFUL
- No harassment, personal attacks, brigading or targeted hate.
- Discuss the story, writing, tropes and characters - not each other.
- No sexual solicitation, predatory behaviour, inappropriate collaboration or manipulation.
