Returning to WW2 after many many years off. What map gets most players by consensus?

Last couple of plays, there's been regular people on Tortured Path but apparently it's quite hated on?

does anybody know why the fg42 is so different in Ww2 game compared to WaW? I remember in WaW, it had the one of the highest firing rates out of any weapon in the game. now it shoots at snail speed even with rapid fire. also curious to know which one more accurately represents the weapon in real life if anybody knows!

Thought I'd boot the game up after a reenactment after someone said I looked like Daniels in my gear at the reenactment.

Is it possible to find a ranked game? I got 3/8 yesterday but I don’t know if it goes to 8/8 will it actually start? I know they remove ranked play in every cod

I swear, no matter how large the map is, you can be running in any direction and there will be one or two teammates absolutely glued to your ass. I’ll see the minimap and see the other arrow literally trailing right behind like we’re a unit.

I’ll be running and it’ll start twitching or slowing down and that’s when I turn to see a teammate just glued to me. Big map, so much space, even if it’s a few feet away. But they need to be ON MY ASS lmfao.

Bonus to the ones who start bunching up when a glide bomb comes down. On shipment the announcement comes and instead of spreading tf out, everyone bunches together?? To give the enemy player a 3+ multikill.

Okay so for example as myself, I usually get asked what games I like when I first meet people and then I usually mention this game and then they get this weird look on their face as if I'm talking gibberish and it always confuses me; they mention newer call of dutys but never WWII and even if I ask if they know it they say "Its not a real call of duty" like hello? Its in the name!

Was showing one of my friends some of the methods to have a good time on The Darkest Shore, so I showed him how to despawn the meuchlers and abuse the glitch where you can get out of the fire pit step to progress the rounds faster, love this map!
