The router at home has been flashing red and the open reach box suddenly dropped all lights at the weekend. Unfortunately I had been taken to hospital so couldn’t get any ball rolling till last night. I can see no lights in the open reach hub apart from power and a flashing red in the WiFi 7 router. I have logged a job with Vodafone, I did try from hospital days ago but it just wanted me to be at home with the router so I gave up. It’s been off about 4-5 days now so a definite fault.
I have tried a few different power on off checked cables etc but no dice I think it must be external. I did try openreach but they just say sod off to your supplier even if it is our box.
How long does this normally take to fix any ideas? I do have a SIM card backup thing somewhere, I think it’s still in the box tbh. I’m coping fine without internet lol but the girls are not amused.
I had some weird message also on the Vodafone app saying subscription no longer available for this router has to be a glitch as they snaffle the monthly fee from my bank without a glitch each month including a few days back.

I tried to export my contacts then import them to my phone but the import is always stuck at some percentage.

then I tried to manually sync the contacts but it says that the sync is current experience problems.

and my calls history isn't being updated with my recent calls, I tried to clear the app's data so the all my calls history is deleted now but it didn't fix the issue.

I handed my iPhone 15 Pro Max to Vodafone for a battery replacement on 26 September. On 29 September, I received an update saying Vodafone had handed the phone over to DHL, with delivery scheduled for 30 September.

On 1 October, I checked the tracking and found that the parcel was delayed. It is now 13 October, and the tracking still hasn’t changed. I still don’t have my phone.

I contacted DHL a few days ago, and they told me that because the delay had exceeded five days, I needed to contact the sender, Vodafone, to investigate. To me, this strongly suggests that DHL cannot resolve the issue directly with me and that the parcel may have been lost.

I called Vodafone on Sunday, and customer service told me to call back on Monday because DHL was closed and they couldn’t check anything.

So I called again on Monday, only to be told that it wasn’t Vodafone’s responsibility and that I should contact DHL.

DHL told me to contact Vodafone, and Vodafone told me to contact DHL. Meanwhile, I’m the one left without my phone.

What’s even more frustrating is that Vodafone initially refused to open an investigation. I had to mention escalating my complaint to the Ombudsman before they finally agreed to open a case.

I understand that delivery issues can happen, but Vodafone arranged the return delivery. I don’t think it’s acceptable to leave a customer chasing two companies back and forth while neither seems willing to take ownership of the problem.

It’s been nearly two weeks since Vodafone handed my phone to DHL, and I still have no idea where it is.

Has anyone experienced something similar with Vodafone? If DHL has lost your phone during a return delivery, did Vodafone replace it or compensate you? And what would you recommend I do next?

Honestly, this experience has completely put me off Vodafone. Never again.

Problem is that when the voicemails get to a certain amount, no more voicemails can be left, which can be bad for business.

Has anyone found a way for the voicemails to auto delete when they get to a certain number?

Hello all. May I know if anyone managed to configure the residential voip working with customer owned non Vodafone hub, still working fine please?

I have been provided some configuration parameters previously which they don't hand them out nowadays. Unfortunately I'm just managed to start trying them recent days and found not working. Couldn't get any response from their sip registrars. Did they retired their old sip servers e.g. resvoip.vodafone.co.uk?

Searched for sharings from successful cases and tried with all their tips e.g. DNS SRV mode with Vodafone DNS servers, local SIP port 5065, UA set to Vox3, and UDP... etc. Still not work. Not getting even an error. Simply no response from their servers!! Wish anyone could share your experience especially if your setup is still working now. 🙏

I've spent the last two weeks constantly losing 5G+ coverage around London and having my iPhone endlessly on Edge. After going through several rounds of 'troubleshooting' I switched off 5G standalone in my data settings and have got regular, consistent data back again.

The team at Vodafone seemed to have no idea how to fix it but agreed that 5G standalone must be the problem.

Is this happening to everyone after iOS27 upgrade or am I just unlucky?

Recently I lost my broadband provider so I had to use my phone as an internet connection. For no reason at all, Vodafone began blocking the specific apps of Discord, Instagram and Netflix which is quite annoying to say the least, and i could get past this block with a vpn but that lowered my speeds down to a crawl so that wasnt an option. Alright so I turned off the 18+ restriction that I still had on my account and hurray! everything was back to normal, until it wasnt because netflix decided to just annihilate 3 shows I was watching that I know for sure are in the UK cause I verified with my friends but I could live with that. Then the next day discord, instagram and netflix were all fully blocked again for no reason so I went to secure net and cancelled that subscription that my parents were paying for still and everything was back! minus those shows on netflix but I could live with those.
And now it appears like my speeds have been throttled to all hell as I still appear connected on stuff such as stream but it takes close to 5 minutes to load one webpage, but for some god forsaken reason, connecting to a VPN unthrottles this internet connection of mine and I am just so tired of this stuff cause it is really frustrating you know not being able to talk to any of your friends for literally zero reason but uh yeah vent post n shit

I got the box to send the previous phone back to them, which I traded in, but I’m now not getting any power to the phone at all. I still owed about 400 on the handset contract, and the trade-in was going to wipe the vast majority of that out. Clearly, I’m not sending it back now, what happens now in terms of money required, or do I just continue to pay that old handset contract?

Since Saturday afternoon I lost my Internet connection, through no fault of my own making I may add. Checked Downdetector to see if faults reported- they are. So i get on with my day and forget about it. Sunday comes and internet has not returned, i contact Provider and arrange engineer call out- Tuesday between 1-6pm. Oh well time to curtail my internet use. Skip to Tuesday morning and I get a call from engineering company saying no engineer will be coming as no appointment made. I repeat what i was told and I was not believed. I made a new appointment for 20th between 9-1 but will accept cancellations/urgency option. @1416 I get call from engineer and is on the way. Engineer arrives and we find out cable is blocked/kinked and it can not be fixed at this time as involves digging. I give consent for same as a different crew will do same and now we wait. All the while I am left using 5G network and as PAYG customer is proving to be costly. Today Provider contacted me and is sending mobile dongle by will not arrive until Friday.
What I hadn’t realised was how many things I had connected to the internet. I’m GenX and it shouldn’t be a big deal to be without internet but that is a lie. Have gladly accepted it into life and it is sorely missed.

Ugh, I recently switched to Lidl connect for the amazing cost for life. I assumed…I know…that my current sim only plan with Vodafone was rolling it out of contract. Well, jokes on me, I assumed wrong.

I was in a 24 month contract, started January this year so now I’m left with the remaining 14 months and plus some it seems? It was 25 a month but you know Vodafone this did increase. I have been told by the agent that my bill remaining is 389.
