Today I bring you a new vaporwave project that I've been working on for a while, inspired by the Nu Guide which just turned 10 years old... Introducing DOVW; an online directory of completely original, sample-free vaporwave. Yes, that's right. I'm talking about vaporwave music that was produced without using any samples whatsoever! For example:

• A slushwave album made from completely original songs that were slowed down, cut up, and reverbed.
• A broken transmission album combining recorded vocals and bitcrushed instrumentals to create a "homegrown" radio signal.
• A late night lo-fi album produced using vintage synthesizers and mastered to sound like an old cassette tape.

I have gathered over 100 albums for this project and I want you 🫵 to give me more albums to add! Leave a comment below with your music recommendations (self promo OK) or fill this form if you don't have a reddit account.
